BATTLEFIELD ♛ the 100 [b.b]

We were walking to the meeting point in silence, I was walking with Clarke who hadn't said a word with Finn leading us. My mind wandered to Bellamy and wondering if he was being safe before pursing my lips.

"Sorry about before, interrupting you and Bellamy." Clarke speaks up making me look at her and I shake my head.

"Don't worry about it."

"I guess things are going well between the two of you."

"I wouldn't say great but getting there." I said snickering making Clarke smile lightly, "We've got a lot of issues to work through, that I know."

"I'm guessing Octavia doesn't know?" Clarke says making me nod, she shrugs her shoulders as we kept walking, "I don't think she'll mind, she loves you both."

"I think she'll probably have a heart attack and think I'm joking. She wouldn't have seen it coming."

"I mean it has been pretty obvious with the both of you from the start?"

"How so? We pretty much argued all the time we spoke." I said laughing as I raised an eyebrow looking at her, she smiles lightly looking at me.

"You two are so alike in many ways, you butt heads at first but when it comes down to it you both are level headed. Plus, I think he only argued with you because it was the only time you would speak to him." Clarke says making me snort as I shake my head, turning to the front before smiling to myself thinking about it.

We soon came up to the bridge Clarke was telling me about earlier, we stepped out of the woods and my eyes immediately landed on Octavia. I shouldn't have been surprised about the meeting with the grounders, it was all making sense now.

"So, that's how you set this up. You helped him escape, didn't you?" Clarke says as soon as she spots Octavia who walks over to us.

"I trust him Clarke." Octavia says pleading with her eyes and I see Clarke pursing her lips nodding slowly.

"There's a lot of that going around."

"If Octavia trusts him, then so do I." I said looking at Clarke who gives me a look, probably putting it together that I knew about it. She just nods her head, I looked over to Octavia who gives me a smile and I winked at her.

"Someone's coming." Finn says making us turn around hearing footsteps before the grounder jogs out of the woods.

Octavia didn't miss a beat by turning and running into his arms, he catches her as they hold each other. I smiled lightly as I watched them, he pulls away staring at her with so much admiration in his eyes for her. He looks over to us and I see his stare was on Clarke making Finn grab her hand for comfort.

I looked at the two seeing Finn staring at Clarke already, I could see Finn had big feelings for Clarke but I knew he was torn because he had Raven. It was pretty clear how much Clarke's feelings for Finn grew even when she tried to ignore it.

Soon we hear someone approaching the bridge, making us turn to see three grounders coming out of the woods riding a horse each. A gasp fell from our lips as we spot the horses, this was my first time ever seeing them in real life.

"My god. Horses." Clarke stares in awe and I couldn't help but do the same thing, I wanted to go up to it and pet it. I see Finn jogging off to where Octavia was standing, Clarke and I following behind.

"Hey, we said no weapons." Finn says giving the grounder a look, I looked over to the people on the horses and see that they were indeed holding swords.

"I was told there wouldn't be." He says just as surprised as we were, I pursed my lips staring at the grounders to see they had stone cold looks on their faces.
