The Cold War in Tokyo ((Tokyo ghoul x reader) reader x Eto))

Chapter 8

Some days have passed since you caught Jason, but there was nothing new from the CCG. The attack hasn't taken place yet and the death of him, has left you with no traces or possible connections, so now the only thing to do was to wait. 

You were also done with studying, as you have written your test already, but you didn't get your results yet. 

You didn't have anything to do, so you asked Hide and Eto if they would like to go to the Anteiku, just to drink coffee, since you didn't have to work today. 

They happily agreed and so you started walking. On the way, Hide talked about Ken, who you haven't seen in a long time and it turned out that he hasn't seen him either. It was definitely weird, but probably nothing to worry about. At least for you.

When you arrived, you already planned something, it was a difficult decision, but Yoshimura and Eto both agreed on doing it, you were finally going to tell Hide that you are a ghoul.

"Well... Hide, there is actually something that I wanted to tell you... " you started.

"You are a ghoul, I know that already and so is your girlfriend. " Hide casually finished.

You and Eto were both shocked and surprised, with your mouths open and no words, except for a small "But .... how ?" Even Yoshimura stopped doing whatever he was doing behind the counter and started listening.

"Well, you know ... I have been riding around in my bike a lot, going from ward to ward and then once when I was driving past the 24th ward, I thought that I heard your voice and so I listened to what you were saying, but I wasn't too sure if it was actually true, so I waited. Then some days ago, you were talking a lot with some CCG agents. I was scared that they found out that you were a ghoul, so I continued watching you and then I saw you, on top of a building and that is when I actually saw you and your kakuja, which confirmed my theory. Besides, I never saw you eat before, so I always had this thought in the back of my mind and let's not forget the time that Ken tried to eat me, because I remember that as well, I just always thought that it was an illusion or some kind of dream, while I was knocked out. Turns out, I was never fully knocked out." Hide explained.

You were still confused as to why you couldn't smell him, while he was listening to you, or watching you, but you soon realized, that it was probably Etos smell covering his. 

"So, I know that you two are ghouls and so is Ken and the manager, but is there anyone else? Also, I would love to know what you are doing with the CCG and stuff. Just tell me everything! I'm really interested in those kinds of things." Hide said in his usual, excited and happy voice. 

You felt like you had no choice and so you started explaining him everything. Neither Eto or Yoshimura seemed to mind, they knew that he could be trusted and so they occasionally told their own stories as well. 

The storytelling continued until it was getting dark outside, but you still weren't done. Even the waiters started telling their stories, it was generally a very nice evening, but something was missing, or rather someone?

Yomo and Touka should have arrived by now, but they still weren't there, but in that very moment, Touka stormed through the door.

"YOMO AND UTA NEED YOUR HELP!" she screamed at the top of her lungs and ran back through the door.

Touka had lots of injuries, but that didn't seem to bother her, she just wanted to get help for her friends.

Everyone was kind of shocked, but you didn't let yourself get distracted and so you took your mask and ran after her. 

You told the rest to stay, as you would be able to at least escort them to safety and you didn't want anyone to get recognized, as that would completely destroy the peace between the Anteiku and the CCG.
