Six Feet Under

Chapter Ten: The arena.

Shades was gritting his teeth together. He was about to blow up any second now. He wanted to kill Scarlet and her team. Yuno was still a bit shooked and the boss was a bit better. "Listen to me, everyone. I know after hearing that you must want revenge and may feel discouraged. But I know all of you. You all have great strength in you. Use that strength in the next few weeks and make me proud. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME EVERYONE." Even though Jo is kinda scary sometimes. However, he truly did care for his recruits. we had to leave the car behind. So we went on foot and continued to follow the boss. Before we got to close to the warehouse the boss called me over and asked me for the package. I gave it to him and he instantly took a pill. I do not know how to describe it but it felt as if he had been rid of some kind of plague of some sort. 

after ten minutes of wait in a random zone with hundreds of mercenaries and assassins that clearly all had murderous intents someone appeared. When I say appeared the guy appeared from the sky with a parachute. "Flashy entrance." "Show off" were the things you could hear coming from the crowd. I could clearly see the mans face. He had a scar on his left cheek. His eyes were those of a man that had killed his fair of innocent. He was quite tall however he was kind of scranny. He was in a full-on tuxedo. He approached the crowd and ordered one of his goons to bring him an earpiece. After receiving the earpiece he laughed and said: "Welcome everyone welcome. Today is a great day. Today you will assist to the clash of ages. You must be asking where are we. We are at the arena when humans become dogs that fight each other to amuse us. These dogs are all of you fighters. Some born to kill others forged in the depths of hell. However, all of you have one thing in common. You have sinned. You all have Wrath inside of you. An uncontrollable bloodlust. You all have blood on your hands. I know you might ask who am I to affirm this. My name is Ivan Powaski and I am a billionaire that has created this arena to bring some excitement into my life." Everyone here now had one idea in mind. To kill the bastard and throw his body in the ocean.

Ivan ordered his guards to separate all of us. He divided us into what looked like our own teams. He then yelled in his mic: "Now rest up my warriors and amuse me in these next few weeks." The guards that had separated us from the rest told us to follow him. So we followed him until we reached a luxurious room inside of the manor. That was big enough for ten people. The guard said: "see you tonight." and left.  I turned around only to see an enraged Carter "FUCK THAT IVAN DUDE I AM NOT HIS DOG." Jo then glared at him and told him to keep quiet for now. Carter grumbled and went outside of the room. Probably to go destroy something. There was a dump yard close by. I turned to see of Yuno was still shaken up. She was working on her weapon. Which to be honest was quite weird. It had this strange feeling coming from it. I then remembered what I wanted to ask Jo for a while now. I turned to face Jo and asked him:"What are we doing here boss. Is this a mission of yours. Are we in danger? What can I do to help." The boss looked at me and started laughing. "Jack, listen to me well. Ivan is one of my old friends and he takes care of the annual mercenaries tournament. Known as the A.M.T. If we win this match we will be awarded enough money to rebuild our base. Imagine all the possibilities." At that moment I wanted to either storm off like Shades did or just slap Jo. However, I did respect him and I still do. So I looked at him and said: "So we aren't in danger this is just for fun." Yuno then turned around and said: "If we were in danger do you think Boss would have let Carter go on his own." They all knew and they told me nothing. "Wait you knew about all of this. If so then why did the boss ask me to tell you guys to come." Jo then snickered and said: "It's because half of the time they forget and have to come running here." 

I was the only one left in the dark. Is this a joke. Wait, then why did Blue tell me to be careful around the arena. "Screw this I am too tired and hungry to think. Where is the kitchen in this place." When I exited the place I saw an infuriated Carter with two guards that looked quite confused. "Hey, Shades what's up." "These guys won't let me go get some food." I then laughed and said: "Wait so they won't let us out." One of the guards then replied, "Sir, we got the order to tell you to go back to your quarters. Until your convoked to the meeting." If the voice of the narcissistic Ivan didn't pop up Carter would have probably killed all of them. "Well if it isn't the troublemakers of the north establishment. Could you be sweethearts and tell Jo to go to the food court it is time. You may come as well. The more pets, the better. Hohohohohohohoho" He then left with a big grin and Here I was with a Carter that was really close to blowing a fuse.
