Joshs pov.
I got ready five minutes ago and Colin pulled up to my house and I got in his truck. Me, Layla and Steve are in the back. Jim doesn't like party so he stayed home. I'm on one side door and Steve is on the other and Layla is in the middle. We're driving some where. I see a house with its lights on and few people walking in. Colin parks there and we get out. I help Layla out so she doesn't fall cause the truck step it huge off the ground.
"Thank you" she says as she dusts off her dress. I nod. We all walk into the house. I see few people and no drinks just punch and water. I see Emma hug someone. "Love you made it" he says. I notice it's the guy that left her house. "Yeah" she says. I wonder around the house and look around. Suddenly I bump
Into someone. I look down and see it's Layla. "I'm sorry" I say. I see her look up and smile.
"It's fine" she says. I smile.
I see her eyes sparkle a little. "Uhm do you wanna get a drink" I ask. "Oh yeah sure" she says. We go over to the punch and I get a cup for me and her. We walk over to the stairs we're no one is. There's a long silence. "So how's Jen" she ask. I smile. "She's doing fine" I say. I see her nod...
We talk and laugh about endless things.
"Josh come here" I hear Colin say. I look up and see him wave to me. "Hold on a moment" I say to Layla. I get up and walk him way. "What" I ask. "Sooooo how's it going" he ask. "It's okay" I say. "No with Layla" he ask. "Oh it's good" I say. "Why haven't you asked her out yet" he ask. "Cause she doesn't like me back" I say. "Sure she does she's happy with you" he says. I roll my eyes. I walk back to the stairs and sit by Layla. "Umm josh" I hear her say. I look at her. "Yeah" I ask. "About last night I was wondering..." she stops. "Wondering..what" I ask. "Was..was I a good kisser" she ask. I laugh a little and smile at her. "What" she ask. "For my first kiss you were great" I say. I see her shocked. "I..I'm your first kiss" she ask.
I smile. "Yes" I say.
"W..why did you waste it on me" She ask. "Layla your first kiss is always a practice for your next one you know how to fix it" I say. I see her smile at me. I stand up and grab her hand. We walk towards the door. I put my drink down and so does she. We walk out the door. "What are we doing" She ask.
"I dont know" I say and smile. "Josh you obviously kn..." I cut her off and kiss her. I feel her shocked then kiss me back. I wrap one arm around her waist the other is on the back of her head. I pull her closer. Our lips move in sync. I pull away and put my forehead to hers. "Josh" she breaths out.
"Yeah" I ask. "W...we just kissed..again" she says. "I know I'm sorry I just had to kiss you so bad" I say. "Josh..I don't wanna date you..cause it will ruin our friendship" she says. I smile. "Then well be just friends" I say.
"But friends don't kiss" she says. I open my eyes and look into her green eyes. "Layla...I love you" I say and lean in again. "Josh I..I need to go" she says. I feel her push me away. I sigh and watch her walk off....
