I smile as Miss. Collins leave.
"She's very gorgeous" Colin says. "Yeah I just wish she was comfortable with me and didn't think I was so strict" I say.
I sigh and look at Colin. It's been about a year since we broke up and it hasn't been the same with out her I got this company because my grandma was the boss then he gave it too me. And Colin and Conner and Steve and I have become friends after school let out. I just wish Layla would've talked to me.
"How do you know she thinks your strict" Conner ask. "Cause she's so careful with things and she want anything bad to happen" I say. I see them nod. "What if I talk to her" Conner asks. "I dont know she's changed so much" I say. "She only dyed her hair and went back to wearing glasses" Conner says. I nod. I hear a knock on the door. I say come in. "Mr. Jones Jimmy smith called and ask it you wanted to set up a meeting and talk about the company of China or something like that I'm sorry Mr. Jones I couldn't understand it all" she says. I nod. "Could you tell me I can't make it" I say. "Alright Mr.Jones I'm sorry for not understanding him" she says. I see her frown. "It's alright Miss. Collins" I say. I see her nod and walk out. "See she doesn't want me to be mad or something" I say. "No she just couldn't understand you know she's not good at Chinese" Conner says. I nod. After a while of talk I hear another knock. I say come in. "Mr.Jones your 5 o'clock meeting starts in 30 minutes" she says. "Thank you miss.Collins" I say. I see her nod. "Also someone is here to see you" she says.
I raise my eye brow. "Who is it" I ask. "Jennifer Jones" She says. I nod. "Could you bring her up miss.Collins" I says "yes sir..I mean Mr. Jones" she says. She walks out and I sigh. "Sir?" Conner ask. "Yes I told her to call me Sir when we're alone" I say. "Oh what do you mean by alone" Colin ask and smirks. "I don't mean like that I mean she comes in the morning and makes me coffee"I say. "Okay" they say. I here a knock. "Come in" I say. "Mr.Jones Jennifer is here" she says I nod and wave her to let her in. I hear her giggle and come in. "Hey bro" she says and walks to me. "Hi Jen" I say. "Guy could you give us a moment I say. "Yeah" they say I see Layla is already gone.
I see the boys walk out. "Why didn't you tell me Layla way here" Jen says. "Cause she just started working here she's actually really good at her job" I say. I see her nod. I suddenly hear a scream. I stand up and run to Layla's office. I open the door and see a man with a knife. I see Layla is backed in a corner. I see the man is in a suit. I notice it's the guy I was supposed to have the meeting with.
"W..what are you going to do" Layla says scared. I hear the man laugh. "I'm going to take this knife and show your boss who gets the gold from China." He says. I tell Jen to call the gards. I see Layla scared. Suddenly two men get Mr.Den and take him away. "Miss.Collins are you Alright" I ask and go to her. I see her shake her head no. "Sir What was he talking about gold" she ask. "It's nothing Miss.Collins just a company thing" I say. I see her nod. I see her still scared. "Miss.Collins how about you go to the apartment and get some food it's about your break" I say. "Are you sure sir" she ask. "Yes" I say. "Thank you sir" she says and walk away. I nod and go back to my office. I talk to Jen for a while.
