Untitled Part 5

I am right, It's been weeks since Chen came to my unit and slept with me in my bed. When I woke up Pavel and Dome are the only one I saw inside my room waiting for me to wake up. Not much of scolding that morning but I feel empty prob they saw something is wrong with me that's why they chose not to say anything.

It's been weeks that I am trying to contact Chen but he is always ignoring all my calls and chats. Today I chose to stop everything, and in order to do that I accepted every assistant teacher my professors are offering me. I want to be busy so I can keep myself from reaching for my phone and contacting Chen again.

"We are going to Sagada this weekend. Are you free?"

This weekend? I don't have anything to do since there is no classes, this is the time in the University where everyone is given a mandatory vacation for 5 days. Since the school is operating 24/7 only the affiliated Hospital is open, I feel so bad for their employees though.

"It's fine with me. How long are we going to be there?"

They look at each other signalling something I didn't catch on. "Ah, just for 3 days." Pavel said, I nodded if its three days I still have 4 days to spent alone (plus the next week's saturday and sunday)

"Okay. I'll just finish this report."

I left them there and went back to my place, alone again, they are always trying to tell me that I shouldn't push myself too much but I can't do that because whenever I have free time I always think of him. Speaking, I am thinking of him again. Sigh.

When I enter my unit I immediately throw myself in the bed and close my eyes. I am shaking out of hungriness but there's nothing to eat inside my fridge, I stood up and went back to Pavel and Dome I knocked continuously until they opened the door.

"Why are you ---"

I didn't let Dome to finished what he is saying I enter straight to their Dining and sat to the nearest chair, put my head on table and started to cry.

"Hey! Why are you crying!?"

I heard Pavel's voice but I didn't raise my head. I just let my tears flow, what I know is I feel mix emotions right now. I am probably hungry or heartbroken or what but right now I need to eat.

"I-I'm ... H-Hungry..."

I heard silence after, I felt someone tap my head followed by strange sounds coming from the kitchen after a long while I smell something ... my favorite Ramen.

They are seated in front of me but I still dig in to the Ramen without saying anything Dome handed me a tea I said thanks. They didn't talk much they are just looking at me like some parents would do when they realized their child is going through the pace of heartbreak. Eh? Heartbreak, huh?

"Thank you..."

"Nine..."

"I'm okay, I'm just really hungry."

I gave them a smile. I almost choke on my words, they just stare at me for a moment and nodded. "Do you want to come with us? we're going to buy groceries." Pavel said as he pick up the bowl of now empty Ramen.

"I can?"

"Yes, of course. Change your clothes first then we'll wait for you downstairs."

I nodded and run immediately to my place and decided to take a bath first. I look like a mess, I've never been like this even when I am reviewing for our Battery exam when I was 2nd year. What's happening now? I smiled bitterly.

I said I will try to forget him right? I drink the beer in my hand while I am scrolling through my phone. He didn't update any status in any social media accounts. I tried to stalk his classmates too but they are all posts about their subjects. But at least you'll know they are still alive.

"I'll still say, People tend to leave because they wanted to."

I posted. There's a lot of comments minutes later, some are questioning why I have said it or asking me to elaborate. Some, mostly maybe those that are left out by their loved ones got my back. And some? Are asking why there is no interaction with Chen lately. That's my question too. Did I get my hopes too high? Promise this will be the last time. Promise.

"Why are you so funny lately Sammy?!"

I smack her shoulder softly. I laugh loudly with the others, today is Thursday we have 6 hours vacant until the next subject but the professor cancelled our class so we decided to drink again but this time at Gun's place. I look around not expecting that he has so many friends from other department whom his boyfriend, Off, invited along with us.

"I'll just go outside okay?"

Pavel nodded and was about to stand up when I stopped him. "Where are you going?"

"With you?"

"No. You stay here." I stand up immediately so he can't catch up on me, Jeez. That friend of mine seriously! I reach their garden and somehow felt some peaceful or not?

"Why are you here alone?" I look up and saw Nanon, he's not the same year as me but I know him because he belongs to the University's Basketball team in which he is the captain. He is much younger than me but way taller than I am.

"Do you know me?"

He laugh a little before seating beside me."Who wouldn't? You're famous in the last weeks."

I rolled my eyes, Myghad. I want to be famous but not this way!

"Ah. Yeah." I said shaking my head.

"So, why are you alone?"

"Just... want to feel fresh air. And I'm quite lazy to talk to my classmates."

"Can I talk to you instead then?"

I look at his way, he is not looking at me but rather staring at the midnight sky."What do you want to talk about?"

"People tend to leave because they wanted to." He said before looking at me, "What if there's a reason? Wouldn't that be valid?"

I felt something, somehow he reminds me of Chen. I am trying so hard to forget about everything but this kid is starting it again.

"I'm not Dogmatic. I f a person's opinion is different in mine I respect that. I also accept explanation. All they have to do is talk." I smiled at him. He nodded.

"For me, people are leaving for different reasons."

"And regardless of that reason we shouldn't judge them right?"

I said, he smiled as he shakes his head and started patting my head. Wait how old is this kid? I'm much older!

*Shot*

I'm surprised at the sound of shutter and a moment of flash. I look at where it is coming and saw Sammy smiling at us while holding his camera.

"Say cheese!"

I smiled reluctantly while the guy beside me even put himself near me.

"Don't do anything stupid with my friend, Nanon!"

"I'm not doing anything... yet."

We laugh because of that. This kid surely has the best confidence when it comes to living organism. Lol! Sammy left so we continued talking from academics to politics and genres of music. We have lots in common that's why haven't notice it's been hours. Pavel and Dome ask me if I am going to go home with them and I nodded.

"See you when I see you!"

I nodded. We book a cab instead since this two is drunk already when we reach home I am quite surprise to see the man who I am trying to forget standing at my doorsteps.

"What are you doing here?"

He opened his eyes and look at me. "You look tired. Come back when you take a rest already."

I look for my card and was about to enter the unit when he spoke suddenly.

"I am here to take a rest."

Huh? Did he say rest or risk?

"Huh?"

"You are my resting place."
