"You are my resting place."

Am I supposed to believe that? As I look at his eyes I am slowly drowning in his emotions. I heard footsteps at my back so I immediately open my door and pulled him in. When were inside no one talks for about five minutes we are just staring at each other, breathes.

"Should I believe that? When you ignored all my calls and chats for the past weeks?"

He sighs heavily. I turn around to open my lights, as soon as my room is illuminated I went to get a glass of cold water. I am actually not ready to talk to him right now, I am not drunk just a little tipsy.

"I'm sorry if it looks like I ignore you---"

"It is indeed you ignoring me. No but's no reasoning out."

I put the glass on the sink and look at him. "What are you doing here? You are busy with your study right? Every minutes are important for a person like you."

"Nine. It's not like that. I'm just--"

"What?"

"I just want to take things slowly. Not so fast that we might get hurt in the end."

I smirk. "Too ironic for a person who is in the fast track to ask about turning things slowly for them. D'you think?"

He sighs again as he reaches for my hand but I avoided his touch.

"Nine. When I say slowly I mean - - us. What's going on about us is something far different than me being in the fast track."

I look at him finding words inside me. What does he mean by us? I am not quiet sure what's going on with me but I sound like a lover asking for his partner to throw him some time. I wonder if we are on the same page.

I am literally saved by bell when my door bell rang. It is past midnight though I wonder who it is, I was about to go and look at it when Chen suddenly turn around and went to my door to see who it was. It took him minutes so I decided to follow him.

"What are you doing here Nanon?" I am shock to see him standing in front of now poker face Chen who is staring at him. Nanon smiled at me.

"You left your phone, Sammy told me to drop it here since we are living in the same building."

Woah. That's I don't know, he handed my phone as he looks at Chen who is currently blocking the door way when I'm about to get it Chen get it first. He looks annoyed now. "Thank you Nanon. I'm sorry, I might have disturb you."

"No worries, Nine. See you next time. Goodnight."

Nanon smiled for the last time before throwing Chen a look and turning around I wonder what they have talked about for the minutes I wasn't around to have this kid infront of me sulks now.

I decided to close the door but as soon I did Chen immediately pinned me on the wall. My eyes went wide for sure, he is breathing heavily as if trying to control his self.

He puts his forehead in mine as he looks me in the eyes. Somehow I wanted to push him because my heart is beating so fast and I felt suffocated.
