A sliver of sunlight shown through the bars on the window of the cellar. The air very dry and musty. It's been years since I've seen the outside world, having been taken prisoner by some very bad people.
Looking around the small room I sighed at the boring colors everywhere. Vast shades of grey stones that hadn't been painted. The floor so cold that it made my body numb, not a trace of a heating system to be found down here.
It was the worst sort of living conditions for anyone. But even the slaves here have it better. They aren't locked up all day, some even get to go outside.
Then there was me.
I was a punching bag for the Death Eaters. They beat me black and blue most days. It's gotten so bad that I don't feel the pain anymore.
Well at least from the physical beatings.
Here I am lying on a straw bed when the door to my cell opens and in walks Bellatrix.
She loved hurting me the most. Said I deserved it for trying to defeat her precious master. Yet my baby brother had been the one to defeat him.
I feel sad when I think about Harry. I haven't seen him in 10 years. It's sad knowing that I don't know anything about him apart from that he's alive. Some friends of our parents saved him and brought him somewhere safe. The downside is, nobody knows where I am.
They have reason to believe that I am alive, as my body wasn't in the house when they came to get us.
I was brought out of my thoughts by Bellatrix walking up to me. A knife in hand. She yanked my right arm forward before she began cutting me.
The sad part is I never felt it, not because I had nerve damage, but because I'd gotten so use to it. This was my normal.
After a few minutes she pulled away smiling at me as thick blood dripped down my arm, leaving a crimson puddle on the floor.
Blood traitor
Those are the words she engraved into my arm. Two words that most magical people despise. But not the Death Eaters they'll call anyone, who didn't join the Dark Lord, that name. Made them feel more in control.
Except for the fact their leader is dead and now they have to live in hiding. However Bellatrix has one thing coming her way, when they catch her she'll be sent to Azkaban. I prey for that day to come soon.
After she was done hitting me and calling me names, she left the room and I was left in silence as the darkness began to unfold. I was use to being lonely by now and starved to say the least. Sometimes the house elves would sneak me food, they were the only nice thing about this place.
The silence was suddenly broken by a loud click and, in the blink of an eye, I was staring at Dobby.
"Come Shay Potter, you must leave. It's not safe for you to stay longer," he says taking my arm.
He tried to help me up, but couldn't because of his small stature. His big green eyes looked wide as if he was terrified of something.
Slowly I stood up "What do you mean Dobby? I can't leave,"
He sighs before taking my hand again "Hold on Miss," he says then I hear a loud click.
Everything swirled around us in a blur of colors. It felt as though we were spinning through the space time continuum. My empty stomach was doing flip flops as we whirled through time.
After what was only a few seconds, we landed on the ground in the clearing of a forest. I didn't even have time to take in the surroundings as I heard the sound of Death Eaters apparating.
"Go Miss Potter, straight through those trees and don't look back," Dobby says before vanishing.
Terrified that they would find me, I ran in the direction Dobby pointed. I ran as fast as my weak body would allow me to and in a few minutes I broke through the trees.
A few feet away was an oddly shaped house, that looked like it was being held together by magic. I knew that these people could help me.
I began sprinting towards the house. Shouts from the Death Eaters could be heard close by in the forest. I stumbled a bit and fell to the ground, my knees felt scraped but I used what little adrenaline I had to push myself up and kept running.
Finally I made it to the door and I knocked on it fastly. The sounds of my captors could be heard faintly as the door to the house opened.
In front of me stood a tall boy about my age. His hair was as red as anything with nice brown eyes. My eyes opened wide in hopefulness and I sighed in relief.
"Please let me in before they find me and kill me," I say shaking in my own skin. I didn't know what would happen if the Death Eaters got to me.
"Before who gets you?" The boys says with a confused look.
"The Death Eaters,".............
