It wasn't long after Molly sent the letter away when everyone came downstairs. Arthur was away at work trying to get me an opportunity to free Sirius from false imprisonment. I was very nervous about the whole situation, mostly because I've never been fond of crowds but I really wanted to help Sirius in any way I could.

I was digging into my pancakes when a question brought me out of my daze. "Hey Shay how did you learn to read and write when you've been away for so long?" Sweet little Ginny asks innocently.

"Oh well the house elf's taught me how to along with how to control my magic so I didn't develop an obscurus, in fact they were the closest things I had to parental figures. They took care of me, in secret. Comforted me when I was upset, healed my wounds when they were bad and snuck me food so I wouldn't waste away to nothing," I explained with a small smile.

I was very thankful for the house elf's, since if it wasn't for them then I don't know if I'd be here today. They helped me survive long enough for me to eventually escape, thanks to Dobby.

"Such wonderful creatures, I'm glad they helped you because they brought you to us where we will protect you," Ginny says which warms my heart. In the short time that I've been here, they've made me feel like family and helped me through everything.

Fred and George were always there to cheer me up when I was down, comforting me whenever I had a nightmare. Not complaining about being woken up in the middle of the night. Everyone else always telling me that I was safe and that nothing would hurt me, but also not being rude when I'd flinch away from them or wince involuntary if they touched me.

But the one thing that I was really grateful for was the fact they didn't pressure me into opening up to them. They knew the limits of asking me questions and didn't get offended if I wasn't ready to answer them. They wanted to make sure I was comfortable enough to tell them about things, waiting patiently for me to fully trust them.

I genuinely smiled look over at the young girl "You're too sweet Ginny. With a heart as pure and kind as yours, you'll be an amazing addition to the wizarding world," as I said that she blushed looking down into her plate of food.

"Awe you're too adorable Gin," I giggled pushing my now empty plate away from me as I looked at the youngest Weasley.

Fred and George chuckled as Ginny blushed even more "You should hear her when she talks about Harry. Someone has a crush," they teased causing the poor girl to run away from the table. Poor Ginny.

"You should be more nice to her, she's your only sister after all," I scold giving them a stern look which made their eyes go wide.

"Goodness Freddie, her inner McGonagall is making a reappearance," George says putting his hands up in mock surrender.

"Got that right Georgie," Fred states before both ran after Ginny so they could apologize for upsetting her. Knowing that if they didn't they'd have to deal with Molly's wrath. Something on body wanted to experience.....

I was freezing, clad in only a thin blanket as I laid on the straw covered floor. It was the middle of winter and heat didn't exist in this damn place. It always amazed me how I was able to survive as long as I had, even in these poor living conditions.

My only hope was one day being free, able to reconnect with Harry who was somewhere safe. Away from all the pain and suffering that surrounded the world. Hopefully in a place where he was happy and loved. That's all I could ask for my little brother, that and the hope that he remembered me.

The cell was quiet except for the sound of the howling winds outside. I had just suffered on of the most severe beatings ever. Bellatrix never stopped until she was satisfied, after all seeing me in so much pain brought her joy.

I was lost in my thoughts, dreaming about the day I'd get out of this hell. However I was brought out of my minded by someone standing at the cell door.

It was a little boy, no older than 5 or 6. Hair just as blonde as anything. So blonde in fact that it looked white in the pale light of the room. He seemed shocked that there was a girl trapped inside the room as he looked over at me.

"Psst, miss why are you locked in this cold room?" He asked innocently, silver blue eyes gazing at me with worry. I walked over to him, slowly and that's when he noticed my chained hands.

"I'm a prisoner down here. Been here since I was three," I say stopping in front of the door, shivering as I left my blanket on the floor.

"That's not very nice, are you a witch?" He asks shyly as he looked at my chains, a hurt look on his face.

"Yeah, my parents were killed by the dark lord. My brother is out there somewhere. I hope he's safe," I explained sadly and the boy gasps.

"That's horrible," he says before snapping his fingers, not soon after Dobby appeared before him. Big eyes wide as he took in the place where his master was standing.

"Yes master?" He says looking at the boys feet, trying not to break down crying as he saw me through the bars of the cell.

"Dobby could you get this nice girl a thicker blanket and some food?" He asked the house elf who sighed in relief.

"Yes Master Draco," he says before zapping away only to come back this time in the cell with a thick wool blanket and a tray of food and sweets.

"Thank you Dobby," I say taking the blanket from him as he placed the tray near my bed.

"It's no trouble Miss Shay," he exclaims before zapping away again quickly. Not wanting to get caught by the death eaters.

I turned back to the boy, now knowing his name I realized he was Bellatrix's nephew and he probably had no idea about his parent being death eaters. Bless him.

"Thank you. You really didn't have to do that," I say offering a small smile. Something I never did anymore.

"It's no problem, I hope you escape here one day," he says and that was the last time I saw him that night....

I was awakened from my dream by someone shaking me, which wasn't the greatest idea since I hate being woken up be someone. I'd rather wake up by myself.

Opening my eyes I saw the twins kneeling on either side of me, still in their pjs "Wake up Sunshine, someone is here to see you," they say together before getting up and running out of the room.

Begrudgingly, I followed but at a slower pace. Making my way down the stairs and into the livingroom although I stopped abruptly on the last stair as I saw who was sitting in the couch.

"Uncle Moony!!"......
