Nightwing watched Raven slowly levitate off the bed. Good, she was healing herself. He had bandaged her wounds, making sure they were clean. He couldn't believe Starfire had attacked her. Starfire was supposed to be kind, sweet. How could she attack Raven like that? His thinking was interrupted when Raven spoke. "No!" Nightwing ran towards her, pushing her back down on the bed, he began to soothe her, rubbing her head. "You're ok, Rae, I'm here. Starfire's gone." Raven stopped fighting, sighing slowly. "It hurts." Nightwing nodded, knowing she meant her chest. "It'll go away soon. You'll be fine. I promise." Raven closed her eyes, fighting against tears. "Why?" Nightwing frowned. "I don't know, she was angry." The dark girl breathed deeply. "At me." Her words surprised him. "I'm sure she wasn't mad at you." Raven studied him. "Stop lying to me." She pushed herself up on an elbow. "We both know she was angry with me. For taking you." Nightwing kissed her forehead. "I took you." Raven scoffed, "Way to flatter yourself." He just waved her off. "I take it you're feeling better?"
"Sure, Birdy Boy."
"Well, the sarcastic insults are back."
"Yeah, and they're not leaving anytime soon."
"Yep, you're better." He did a little bow, then began for the door. Before he got to the end though,she called to him. "Love you."
"Love you too."
