Stranger From a Different World
Tim x Reader
3rd Person POV
Some people believe in magic and traveling through different worlds, some people don't. Tim was one of those who believed it, he just never really interacted with someone as much from a different world until today. Y/n Sparrow daughter of Captain Jack Sparrow. She ended up in Gotham after making an accidental wish for a new environment. She wandered the streets of the city interested by all the lights, sword at her hip. Tim saw this strange girl while on patrol and he decided to stop her. That being said he decided to grab the stranger and pull her into an alley. Y/n instantly reached for her sword and pointed it at his neck.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Tim said to her
"It's called defending myself mate!" She growled at him
"Why are you carrying a sword anyway?" he questioned.
"I'm a pirate. Isn't that obvious?" She gestured to her look
Tim glanced over her outfit, at first he assumed it was just a costume but he could see the serious look on her face. The sword in her hand was definitely not a prop. While taking in her appearance he gulped at the sword.
"You can't be from this world. We don't have pirates here anymore." Tim said to her.
"You're right savvy. I am not from here. My friend Jordan is a genie and I made a wish to explore somewhere new. I did not plan on her sending me to this place" She replied putting her sword back in her scabbard. "Do ya think ye can help me get home?" She asked the raven hair boy in front of her.
"I need to blindfold you to the place we can get you help" Tim said offering her his hand. She took it surprisingly to Tim. Y/n was wondering why she would trust a stranger in a funny uniform. Tim pulled a bandana out from his utility belt and tied it around the girl's eyes. He guided her to his motorbike and he guided her to the seat. He sat in front of her.
"Hold on tight" he said to Y/n and she did as told. On the way to the Batcave Y/n enjoyed the wind that was rushing through her h/c locks of hair, just this time it isn't the salty sea air she is used to. After a ten minute ride through the city the motor bike came to a stop.
"Red Robin who is she?" Batman asked eyeing the girl behind one of his partners.
"That's what I am here to find out Batman. She isn't from this world." Tim explained.
"I'll let the others know" Batman said walking away. Tim helped Y/n up from the motor bike and unwrapped the blindfold. Y/n looked around in awe at the place the stranger she knew by the obvious code name "Red Robin" has brought her to.
"Holy shit this place is amazing" she whispered.
"Yes it is. Now what's your name? Since you never told me it" Tim asked her sitting in front of the computer.
"Captain Y/n Sparrow" she answered him with a small smirk. Tim typed away at the computer, when search results popped up, he saw a picture of her. It read 'Captain Y/n Sparrow, fictional character, daughter of Captain Jack Sparrow.' His was shocked he didn't want to believe it but it was an exact picture of the girl that stood beside him.
"We have to find a way to send you back to where you came from." Tim said continuing to read her profile.
"Do you think it is possible" She asked with a hopeful tone.
"There's always a way." Tim looked at her and gave her a small smile. Y/n sat on the floor and admired the Batcave. She started thinking that it would be pretty cool to stay. She knew she couldn't though, her timeline isn't meant for this world. She started sing A Pirates Life for Me softly. Tim enjoyed the young pirate girls singing. He was trying to think of a way to send her back. She was beautiful and Tim couldn't deny that. "What is it like where you're from?" Tim asked her. Y/n stopped singing and looked at him with a small smile on her face.
"Where I'm from is a wonderful place. It is full of us fictional characters that we are to you here. One of my best friends is the son of Cruella de Vil. You know crazy dalmatian lady..." as she went on about her home Tim listened closely but was also figuring out a way that could send her home. Then something clicked from when they spoke earlier. Y/n's friend is a genie, if she made a wish to get here, then she can make one to get back home.
"Captain Y/n your friend is a genie. Make a wish, her powers sent you hear it can send you home" he said getting her attention.
"Aye mate you're absolutely right. I'm not sure why I didn't think of that." She replied springing up from the ground excitedly.
"Probably because you were distracted by everything around you." He said shrugging.
"Correct. I have been a bit distracted by the lights in this city. I do appreciate that you went out of your way to help me. I don't say this often but, thank you" she thanked Tim extending her hand. His gloved hand reached out and shook her hand.
"It was a pleasure being in the presence of a pirate captain. Hearing about your home was a good story, you're very passionate about it." Tim said
"Whatever you do here keep up the good work." Y/n said gesturing around the Batcave. Tim gave Y/n a small smile. She sent the masked boy a wink. "This is the day that you'll always remember as the day you got to spend time with Captain Y/n Sparrow" she said taking her hat off and giving him a bow using her fathers signature line with a twist. "I wish to be back where I belong" Y/n wished.
"Enjoy the seven seas Captain Sparrow" Tim said
"Thank you, Red Robin" and with that Y/n was whisked away in a cloud of smoke. There was a ghost of smile on Tim's face once the pretty pirate was gone. That stranger from a different world will always be in his memory.
