it's been a while. my therapist thought it would be best to begin writing in a journal daily. i spent a while in the hospital. and now i'm finally getting out. i feel stable enough now. i've spent a lot of time in my thoughts. my friends even come to visit me often. but i'm glad to be released.
it's hard to comprehend that i missed out on a year of my life due it a coma. but i am nineteen now. i have plans to get my g.e.d. and go to college. i may meet some new people.
i am now just entering the building to my high school. i'm starting this journal in my notes on my phone. i grabbed my name tag and entered the classroom to find ethan. i sat next to him in the empty desk.
"hi" i said. "hey" he smiled.
