"Cap'n, she looks dead."

Terra felt a sharp poke at her rib cage.

"Look at her get-up, she must be from somewhere in the Southern Isles. Should we toss her back out to sea?"

What was up with this guy's voice? And where was Debra? Terra's fingers loosened painfully as she wiggled them around. She felt wet. All over. An eyelid cracked open slightly. The light around her stung unpleasantly as she tried blinking away the pain.

There was a sudden gasp. "Cap'n, she's awake!"

Suddenly a few voices turned into a raucous and the damp earth beneath Terra rumbled as fert pounded against the sand.

Blinking rapidly away at the bright sunlight, foggy figures wearily came into focus. Several men were standing above her, scrutinizing with hard and scruffy stares. What in the hell were these guys dressed in?! Knee high boots, loose, billowy shirts and scabbards? Terra was obviously swept away into some weird pirate convention in Orlando. The accents weren't very helpful either. She couldn't tell if they were British or Scottish. Some even looked Mexican.

"Cap! Should we leave her here or take her aboard?"

"T-take me aboard? Aboard what? Who are you guys?"

Their head darted towards her voice, and several stepped back.

A sudden throbbing pain filled Terra's head and she rubbed it furiously. "Where am I?" She had to get away from these weirdos but she didn't even think she could shift to her feet to walk.

The group parted as another man stood in front. Immediately Terra's eyes caught the sharp, glistening sword at his waist. Were these guys for real? The man stood stiffly as he crossed his arms and bent down towards her face. Terra leaned away, obviously no one had a respect for personal space. However....this guy was like....really good looking. His hair was dark and pulled away from his face in a short ponytail, the color matching the slight scruff on his face.

"Um...who are you?" she asked cautiously.

"I should be asking you the same question. What are you doing in Spaniard land when you are clearly not of their race?"

Well at least I knew he was British.

"Huh?" her head swam. What the hell was this guy talking about?

His head tilted forward, as if to say how dumb are you?

"You don't belong here, woman, so what are you doing in restricted territories?"

"Uh...I don't even know where I am. Who are you people?"

Why was nobody giving me any answers?! And did he just call me "woman"?!

Model dude pursed his lips and rose to his feet, glancing at his cosplay friends. "Take her to the ship. Otherwise the Soilos will take her."

"Huh? Wait, what?!"

Suddenly hands grabbed Terra's arms, thrusting her to her feet. The sudden drop of blood in her head caused her vision to blur slightly as they pulled her along. What is going on?! Terra ripped her hands out of their grasps and started to make a run for it. Thing 1 and Thing 2 immediately snatched her hands and Thing 1 hoisted her over his shoulder.

Terra nearly gagged. This guy smelled like briny ocean and bad tuna.

"Let go of me! Let go of me you freak!" No matter how hard she kicked and thrashed the vice grip on this guy was unbreakable. Where were they taking me? Why?! What did I do to deserve this?! Where was Debra?!
