It's Just Hard

Harrys POV

2 months later...

Me and Jen are home in California and everything is perfect.

It's tough to make up for the lost time we had but we are together everyday.

Leah almost died when Jen walked in the house hand in hand with me.

We are just enjoying life. 

We're trying for a baby still too.

I went upstairs around noon to find Jennifer.

She was curled up in bed.

'Hey baby.. go back to bed'? I asked.

She turned over and looked at me brushing her flyaway curls out of her eyes and squinting at the light.

I shut the curtains and turned off her lamp.

It was just dim now.

'I'm tired', she yawned.

'Thats obvious', I smiled and replied.

'My stomach hurts really bad too'.

I laid next to her and hugged her.

'I'm sorry princess', I whispered.

She didn't speak, just snuggled into my arms.

It hit me... 'Jenny, you might be pregnant'!, I said.

She reluctantly got up to take a test and came back to bed to wait for the results.

After 15 minutes she went to check.

She came out of the bathroom and threw it at me and curled up under the covers, crying.

Another negative.

I sighed and tossed it in the trash then laid behind her and hugged her.

'It's okay, we can just try again', I whispered.

'I want a baby Harry. It's just hard. Hard to accept that I don't have kids yet', she said.

I took her to the hospital and they said shes negative too and that she has the flu.

We were back home and she was on the big comfy couch.

I brought her a soft blanket and took her temperature. She had a fever and was shaky.

'Wanna go take a cool bath baby'? I asked.

She shook her head no.

'Jennifer, a temperature of 103 is a bad thing, please let me help you', I said.

'Fine', she replied.

I helped her walk upstairs and got her in the bath.

'Hey don't fall asleep in here', I laughed.

She smiled with her eyes closed.

I got her out and helped her back to bed and she fell asleep instantly.

Leah came over to help her because I was called to go to a meeting.

Leahs POV

Harry called and said Jennifer was sick so I came over.

I still can't believe that he's back. It's so awesome and I love seeing Jennifer happy again.

'Hey lady', I said sitting on the bed by her.

'Hi Lee', she replied.

It was obvious by her voice she was out of it.

'I'll be back soon princess, i'll bring you home something to eat. I love you', Harry said and kissed her forehead.

'Love you more', she whispered back.

It's adorable how much he loves her.

'Take care of Mrs. Connick', he said to me, grinning.

'She'll be fine... shes in good hands, maybe...muh-haha', I said.

'Seriously Leah'.

'Go on get outta here! Of course i'll take care of her. Don't you forget buddy, i've known Jenny since I was 16, I love her too', I said.

'Got it, tell her I love her', he said.

'I will'.

I went upstairs and sat by Jen, resting my hand on her shoulder.

'Hey sick girl, Harry wanted me to remind you, he loves you', I said.

She smiled.

'I love that man more than he will ever know and more than he can comprehend', she said.

'Adorable. Ok what are we gonna do?', I asked.

'I can't really do a whole lot', she said.

'True', I replied.

Harrys POV

I got to the meeting building.

It doesn't exactly look like the place a business meeting would take place.

It looks more like a gang meeting place.

'Congo/Morocco international trade', is what it said on one of the windows.

I felt a weird feeling.

I got out of the car anyway...
