New Happiness

Jens POV

2 months later...

'Harry... help', I wined from the kitchen.

'Whats up'? He said as he walked in.

'I dropped that', I said, pointing at the spoon on the floor.

He tried to hide his laughter.

'I can see you', I commented.

'Sorry', He said and handed me the spoon.

My belly is too big to bend over and pick anything up.

I'm 9 months now and am due next week.

Literally any minute now. 

I'm just tired of being so huge.

I went to the bedroom to find Harry sitting on the bed.

I walked up and her hugged my belly.

'This has to end', I said as I laid on the bed.

 'It's okay', Harry said as he rubbed my belly and kissed my neck.

Harrys POV

Jen got up and went to take a shower and I stayed in the bedroom.

I gave up on the football game and went in the bathroom.

'Can I come in'? I asked as I tapped on the glass.

'Yeah', she said.

I stepped in and Jen wrapped her arms around me.

I hugged her as we stood under the warm water.

'Oh shit'! She said and pulled away.

'What'?, I asked.

'My water just broke! It's about time!', she said excitedly but I felt the blood drain from my face.

'Relax Harry', she said and stepped out to dry off and get dressed.

 She was standing there holding a bag and I was still standing in the bathroom, rubbing my face.

'HARRY COME ON'! she yelled.

'Jennifer I don't want to see you in so much pain, knowing I cant do a thing to help you', I said as we got in the car.

'I'll be fine, lets just go', she said, looking straight ahead.

'Mama, I can tell you're scared', I said and rested my hand on her knee.

'I am', she replied.

We got to the hospital and she was stressing out because her contractions were progressing rather quickly.

Her doctor got her into a room and inserted a few IV's in her arm.

3 hours later....

'Just stay calm honey. All the pain will be worth it once she's in your arms', the doctor said to her as she rubbed her shoulder.

I was holding her hand.

'I just want her out', Jen whispered.

'Within an hour, just relax', the nurse said and went out.

I wiped the tears from her face and she wrapped her arms around me, burring her face in my nec as she cried.

'Oh baby, i'm sorry it hurts so bad. I love you Jen', I said and rubbed her back.

The doctor came back in to check on her.

'Well my dear, shes ready to come out. Time to push', she said and patted her leg.

'Ready mama'? I asked and kissed her forehead.

'Let's get this over with', she replied and laced her fingers through mine.

She looked at me and I could just see in her eyes, she was in so much pain and was just exhausted.

'I love you goddess', I said and kissed her hand.

She smiled back faintly and whispered 'Love you more'.

She pushed and delt with the pain so well. She didn't scream or yell or swear.

'Ouch', she cried into my neck as she dug her nails into the back of my hand.

'Heads out. Thats the most painful part. You're doing amazing', the doctor said.

'Oh lord... ow ow oww', she cried.

'You're doing good. It's almost over baby', I said.

'Here you go'! The doctor said happily and laid Rhea on Jen's chest.

'Oh my... Look at you! Hi Rhea.. hi baby', Jen said when she looked at her.

I couldn't help it, I started crying.

The doctor took her to clean her up and make sure she was healthy.

'Harry', Jen said when she saw me crying.

I just grabbed her cheeks and kissed her, making her giggle.

'Jennifer that was amazing. Are you okay princesss'?, I said to her.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and held me tight.

'I'm fine. You got me through that. That wasn't as bad as I imagined. I'm tired', she said softly.

'I bet you are! Plus, it's 4am', I said and kissed her head.

A minute later the doctor walked in holding Rhea.

She handed her to Jennifer

Jen gasped and just looked at her.

'Oh my goodness.. look at you', Jen whispered and kissed her head, snuggling her close to her.

I leaned in and kissed Rheas head and she opened her eyes and looked up at Jen.

Jen leaned down and kissed her nose.

'You have daddys beautiful eyes', she said.

'And mama's crazy brown hair', I laughed.

'Can I hold her honey'? I asked.

'Yes you can', she replied.

I carefully took her from Jen and held her close.

'You are as stunning as your beautiful mommy', I said and rocked her.

'Jenny, I can't believe we made her! And I'm finally a father.. after so many months of trying I can't believe we almost gave up. I love her so much', I said and wiped a tear away.

Jen smiled an watched us.

'Mama wants you back, I can tell', I laughed and gave her back to Jen.

I kissed Jens forehead, then Rheas.

I can't believe we are finally parents of this beautiful little girl.
