A\N: this chapter is really short, sorry. The next one will be longer.

Harrys POV

The next morning...

I woke up and my head was pounding.

I turned over to hug Jennifer but she wasn't there. Or in the bathroom.

I looked out and saw a smashed vodka bottle on the balcony.

All at once, it came back to me. My drinking, how drunk I was and.. I hit Jennifer.

It felt like everything went weak, I just had to sit down.

My poor princess. I promised to take care of her, protect and love her until the end of time.

She finally had all her confidence back and the memory of Robert had faded away. But I brought it back. I can't believe I hit her. I deserve to die.

The truth is, I got to thinking about my mom and how she died from leukemia, the same type that Rhea has now. I had a drink and one thing led to another and I found myself upset and drunk. SO drunk I didn't even recognize Jennifer as the woman I love.

Now i'm just sitting here crying like a fool. I don't deserve her.... Don't even deserve to look at her.

But I need to tell her, it wasn't me lastnight. The alcohol was acting through me and I would rather die then hurt her.

I wiped my eyes and walked down the stairs.

She was washing dishes and holding Rhea. She looked like she had been crying and there was a nasty bruise by her eye. It just crushed me.

'Jennifer... baby', I said softly.

She didn't even look my way.

After a minute she dried her hands and they were shaking. By then I was crying too.

She picked up a plate, the beautiful plate that my mom made so many years ago, and she looked at me.

'You promised you'd never hurt me. You showed me that no man can keep a promise. See this plate? It's my heart, all pretty and full of love for you', she said.

She walked up to me and dropped it at my feet, shattering it into hundreds of pieces.

'Not so full anymore is it', she said.

She grabbed her purse and by then was just sobbing.

'I was so stupid to let my gaurd down and believe someone loved me', she said softly.

'Baby don't go... I love you let me explain please', I replied.

She picked Rhea up and slammed something down on the counter before she walked out slamming the door.

I watched her pull out and drive away.

I can't lose the love of my life.

After standing in the driveway for a few minutes I went back inside.

I spotted something on the counter and picked it up.

I put my hand on my head and slid down the wall to the floor.

In my hands was a 100% positive pregnancy test.
