(Max Steel) A not so hero

I let out a laugh as I watched Kirby play at the balloon booth.

"He is really trying." A voice said.

I turned to see a guy with a black hair and brown eyes. He had on a black vest and pants with white shoes and fingerless gloves.

"That's Kirby for you... he won't stop until he wins." I said with a laugh.

"Boyfriend?"

"Best friend." I said softly.

"Reberto Martinez.... but my friends call me Berto." He said as he held his hand out.

"Raven." I said as I sent him a smile.

"Got a last name?"

"Only my friends get to know my last name." I said with a smile.

He let out a laugh and I smiled as Kirby finally won the bear.

"I'll take a turn." Berto said as he handed the man his money.

I watched as he popped all the balloons and then pointed to a green bear.

"For you." He said as he handed it to me.

"Thanks... but you didn't have to-"

"It's nothing, you can repay me by going on a date with me." He said with a smile.

"Smooth.... I guess I could.... seeing as I have nothing planned." I said with a small smile.

Kirby sent me a thumbs up and I laughed as he walked away.

"Shall we?" Berto asked as he held his hand out.

"Now?" I asked shocked.

"What's better then the present?" He asked softly.

I took his hand and I smiled as he took me around the fair. I laughed as we went into the house of mirrors and I nearly got lost.

"Found you." Berto said from behind me.

"Looks like you did." I said with a laugh.

We soon made it out and made our way to the fairest wheel.

"I don't know... I mean... I'm not a heights fan."

"Don't worry, I promise I won't let anything happen to you." He said as he sent me a smile.

We got in our seat and I quickly grabbed his hand. He sent me a smile as I loosen my grip and he gently held my hand. We soon went up and I looked around.

"Wow it's beautiful." I said as I looked at the ocean.

"You sure are... the ocean... I mean... it is super beautiful." He said as he looked away from me.

I laughed as I shook my head. He looked back at me and sent me a smile.

"Um.... would it be to much to... to kiss you?" He asked softly.

We started to move closer and I leaned forward, just before our lips could touch though we heard screaming. I looked out to see a ship being pulled into the water.

"Oh god!" I exclaimed as I watched it.

I soon saw Max Steel going towards the ship and trying to save it, but it was pulled under. We soon got off the fairest wheel.

"I gotta go... but maybe we can..."

"Go on a real date?" I asked with a smile.
