(Max Steel) A not so hero

Final fight

Syd took me to the living room and I let out a shaky sigh as I set beside her on the couch.

"How are you feeling?" She asked softly.

"Tired..... and sore.... guy shocked the living crap out of me." I said as I held my head.

"What happen?"

"It was a grab and go.... I was working with this guy to get a piece for Dread.... and he turned on us.... Dread did something to him and he wanted fixed... he tried to us me.... but.... Dread abandoned me.. called me a failed experiment." I said as I pulled my legs to my chest.

"I told you that Dread was just using you..... we can still make it right."

"No! This is Max Steel's fault! He did this! I.... Everything was fine until he came and ruined it all!" I yelled as I stood up.

"Raven-"

"I'm going to kill him.... I swear I'll destroy Max Steel!" I snapped as I glared at her.

"Max Steel isn't the bad guy." She said softly.

"You are wrong..... He is..... he is a monster." I said angrily.

I shook my head and walked out of her house. After going Turbo Speed I rushed I towards base and snuck in.

"I was wondering when you would arrive." A voice said.

I turned to see Naught smiling at me. I quickly picked up my gun and aimed it at him.

"No need, I only wanted to give you some information." He said calmly.

"What information?" I asked sternly.

"Max Steel is going to destroy your father's missile.... if you want Dread's favor back, stop him." He said calmly.

I nodded my head and walked out of the base with the gun. When I arrived at the missile launch I saw Max Steel fighting Extroyer. He quickly beat him and stopped the missile. I pulled the gun out and shot at him.

"Raven." He said softly.

"It's Blackbird! And I'm going to make sure you regret ever ruining my life!" I yelled as I pulled my sword out.

He pulled out a sword of his own and I smiled as I charged at him. He dodged and swung his sword at me. I blocked the sword and kicked him back. He threw his sword at me and I quickly rolled out of the way. I turned my head on time to quickly dodged as his sword swung at me. I pushed him back and did a backwards flip and landed on my feet. I pulled out my own sword and blocked his next attack.

"Raven! I don't want to hurt you!" He yelled as I pushed him back.

"Well that's to bad, because I want to hurt you!" I yelled as I brought my sword down.

He quickly dodged and the fighting continued. I was able to knock his sword out of his hand and throw him to the ground. He looked up at me and I watched as he took off his helmet. The moment I saw his brown chestnut hair and blue eyes I knew who it was.

"Please.... I'm your best friend." He said softly.

"Max?" I asked shocked.

And that's where we left off.

"So Max Steel is Max." Tinker said in shock.

I backed away from him and dropped my sword.

"Raven.... I know Dread has lied to you.... it's not late to make things right.... please.... you're like my sister... I don't want to lose you." He said softly.

I shook my head and quickly turned and changed into my flight mode. I flew off and made my way to the secret base. I landed at the door and pushed it open. I walked in to see Dread talking to Naught.

"Ah! So you are alive." Dread said calmly.

"Max McGrath.... he said you killed his father..... is it true?" I asked as I walked up to him.

"I don't see why it matters."

"Is it true!"

"Yes, and I also killed his aunt..... why does it matter?"

"His aunt?" I asked shocked.

"Talia Ferrus." Naught said calmly.

"Talia..... that's.... that's my mothers name!"

He sent me a look and I looked at him shocked.

"I'm not your real daughter.... am I?" I asked softly.

"That's what I told Extroyer..... I would of thought by now you would of realized." He said calmly.

"Realized what?" I asked as he let out a chuckle.

"That you aren't mine... and never have been."

"Then who am I?" I asked angrily.

He started to walk towards me and I backed away.

"Think very hardly." He said calmly.

I looked away and then my eyes went wide.

"Ferrus.... Commander Ferrus.... Max's uncle..... he's my father." I said in shock.

"There she goes."

"Why? Why would you kidnap me? Why take me from my family?!" I yelled angrily.

"Because of your turbo energy.... I was going to kidnap your mother.... but then I saw you.... and I knew that if I wanted to crush Forge..... I'd have to take the one thing he loved.... you... his darling daughter." He said as he grabbed me around the throat.

I let out a gasp of air as I tried to claw his hand off of me. He let out a laugh as he slammed me into the wall.

"Tinker..... call.... Max." I thought as I tried to catch my breath.

"Already did it. I sent the whole conversation to him as well and our location." She said quickly.

"Good."

I kicked Dread away and took off down the hallway.

"Max said he would be here in five minutes, think we can hold out that long?"

"I hope so." I said as I slammed a door shut and put a bookshelf in front of it.

I looked around the room for anything that would help me escape and I smiled when I saw a laser gun.

"Thinking what I'm thinkin?" I asked happily.

"We super charge the gun and shoot him."

"Yep. I'm glad you can read my mind." I said as I unlinked from her.

"So am I." She said as she linked with the gun.

I aimed at the door and leaned against the wall. I waited for the door to be broke open and then I fired at Dread. It slammed him against the wall and then Tinker unlinked with the gun and we ran out. We ran to the front and pushed the door open. When we made it out I saw N-tek with their guns drawn.

"Raven! Behind you!" Max yelled.

I dodged Dread and quickly moved out of the line of sight. They soon fired at Dread knocking him out. I let out a sigh of relief as they put cuffs on him.

"Raven!" A voice yelled.

I looked up and felt tears stream down my face as Max ran up.

"I'm so sorry... I didn't... I-"

"It's okay, I'm just glad you are okay." He said as he pulled me into a hug.
