Trigger Warning: Transphobia. Stay safe!

-A few months later-

Virgil's POV

It had been 4 months since I became friends with Patton, Logan and Roman. It was February, and rain drizzled from the sky. I was grabbing my arms in an attempt to warm myself up, cursing myself for not wearing a coat.

Suddenly, I felt someone wrap their arms around me from behind. My fight or flight reflexes kicked in and I forced the the person off of me. I quickly turned around to see a laughing Patton. He was wearing a grey cardigan that had a blue flower on it. I couldn't help but smile at him.

I sighed, laughing. "Patton, you scared the living daylights outta me!"

He laughed "I know I did." He looked around "Have the others arrived yet?"
"Yeah, Logan and Roman are waiting for us on the field, so we better get going" I started walking and Patton followed close behind, fiddling awkwardly with his cardigan sleeve. I noticed this and turned to him.

"Everything alright, Patton?"

"What? Oh! Yeah, I'm fine! I just..... zoned out for a bit!"

"Okay...."

When we reached the field, I greeted Roman and Logan and sat down with them, sighing as the grass wet my pants. As we talked, Patton fiddled with his cardigan sleeve, looking as if he were lost in thought. We asked him if he was okay, but he just laughed and said he was fine.

Weird...

Roman spoke, continuing an 'amazing' story he had "So anyways, as I was defeating the dragon witch-"

"Guys I need to tell you something!"

We turned to Patton, who was staring at the grass. He lowered his voice, realizing how loud he was "There's something really important that i've been meaning to tell you for a long time, but I never knew when to say it."

"What is it, Patton?" Logan said, looking at him with concern.

"Well.....um.... There's something that I think, um, you should know....." Patton stuttered out. "And that is?" Roman asked, getting annoyed that he couldn't finish his story.

Patton closed his eyes tight, took a deep breath and spoke.

"I'm.... I'm Transgender!"

Patton POV

"I'm Transgender!"

The words that I have been keeping to myself for years slipped out of my mouth. I opened my eyes to see the shocked faces of my friends.

I started explaining more, my eyes filling with tears.

~Flashback~

"Mom? Dad?" I nervously walked down the stairs, looking around. "Yes, sweetheart?" My mother asked, stopping beside me. "There's something I've been wanting to tell you and dad..." I fiddled with the bracelets on my arm.

My mother laughed "Well then let's go find him! I can't wait to hear about my beautiful daughter's achievements!" I hesitantly followed behind her as we walked into the living room. My father looked up from his newspaper and smiled at me. "What is it honey?"

My mother excitedly sat down on the couch "Peyton's got something to tell us!" "Really? What amazing thing do you have to tell us, Peyton?"

I sighed "mom, dad......" I took a deep breath "I'm transgender."

After a few seconds of silence, my parents burst out laughing.

"Wow! You really got us there!"

"Im serious, mom."

My mother stopped laughing "No you're not. You're my daughter and you always will be."

"But mom, i'm not your daughter!"

"Yes you are! I raised a daughter! Not some filthy fag who thinks he has a dick!"

My dad sat up "Honey, please-"

"No! I will not put up with this! After all I did for you!"

My mom forcefully picked me up by my hair and started dragging me towards the door. I screamed in pain, tears filling my eyes.

"Mom, please! Stop! That hurts!"

"Honey please!"

"NO! I WILL NOT STAND AROUND WHILE THIS FAG RUINS OUR FAMILY!"

My mom opened the door and threw me out onto the rough sidewalk. She screamed at the top of her lungs

"AND NEVER COME BACK!!!"

And slammed the door.

Tears trickled down my cheeks as I finished the story. Virgil rushed to my side, tightly hugging me as tears rolled down his face. Logan walked up to me and wiped the tears off my face, smiling.

I blushed. It's pretty obvious that I've had the biggest crush on Logan since I first met him. Too bad he'll never like me back. I smiled, relieved that they accepted me. I looked up at Roman and stopped.

He looked pissed, with his hands clenched in fists. Fear shot through me as he walked towards me.

"R-roman?"

"Shut up, you liar!"

Sorry that this chapter is short and really bad. I had no idea how to connect the plot points together so I made this garbage. The next chapter will be really long and WAY better than this so be prepared!
