Sorry for the short chapter but kinda important
--------------------------------------------------------------------
As I got closer to the arena, I noticed an opening in the middle of a sea of dragons. Looking closer I also noticed a certain blond sitting at the center, watching me. The time of our battle grew closer as Igneel circled closer to the herd. It was kinda weird seeing Lucy, usually scared out of wits by a bug, sitting calmly in the mists dragons roaring and flying around her.

"Hey, Igneel?" I asked not taking my eyes off Luce. "Has Luce been here since you came? Or before then?" Igneel pondered my question for a minute, flying closer and closer into the swarm.

"Yes. She has. Ms.Lucy came here to check up on me and give me an update about you not that long ago. I believe it was 10 or 12 days ago. Maybe sooner."

His answer struck me odd. How tho? I wondered. She had only gotten her transformation under control a week ago! How could she visit Igneel? And why didn't she take me with her?!

"Time works differently here, Natsu." he added," A day in your realm is 2 days to us. So technically Ms.Lucy only visited us 5 or 6 days ago. She couldn't take you with her." I looked at the fire king and wondered if dragons could read minds. "When she came, she came looking for help with her transformations. She told us they were getting too dangerous and needed to control it. We could tell she was passed from ready to be able to, so we obliged. During training, tho, she wouldn't stop telling everyone how strong you had gotten since I left. Not a second went by, she wasn't thinking about you. I guarantee it." He landing in front of Luce and let out an exasperated sigh. "Well, kid, I hope you make it out alive and good luck. You're gonna need it."

"Great pep talk Dad,"  I commented sarcastically," but I'm going to be coming out victorious today!" Getting off Igneel, I eyed Lucy as she got up and walked to face Igneel and whispered something I couldn't make out. He looked shaken by her words but didn't reply. He flew away and Luce and I had a staring contest lasting a few minutes. We turned and made our way to our side of the arena. We got to the opposite sides of the arena, which was about 2 kilometers wide, and faced each other.

"Don't hold back, Natsu! Don't even think about it!" She ordered me while waving.

"Yeah, yeah! Wasn't planning on it!" I replied stretching.
