Those three words

"LUCE'S MY GIRLFRIEND!!" I screamed making sure the whole neighboorhood heard and raised my arms. Lucy let out an exasperated sigh and got off the bed.

"I'm going to go make dinner, then tomorrow we can tell the guild about us and my secret at the same time. Be back in a bit!" I happily sighed and fell back on her bed.

"I'm the luckiest man alive right now... Hey Luce, whatcha going to fix?" I got up and walked to the kitchen.

"Something~. But don't come in here! It's a surprise. Go find some clothes that you left and get changed. You're stinky."

"Where are my clothes than?" I asked stopping to lean next to the kitchen doorway.

"3rd drawer down in my dresser, but don't get pervy. Oh yeah, and if you try to fit into any more of my clothes I will kick you out and not feed you." Even though I couldn't see her face I knew she had a

"I won't, I won't." I said walking back to her bedroom. I got my clothes and went to the bathroom. Luce was sitting on the bed with a plate, eating when I walked out.

"Where's my food?" I pouted.

"Hm?" She looked over at me and smiled devilishly. She swallowed a bite said, "Right here." then patted her stomach.

"No~~!" I yelled, still pouting. "You ate my food? How dare you!"

"I'm kidding, Natsu." she said laughing, "You have to go to the kitchen and fix your plate, tho."

"Yay! Food here I come!" I ran into the kitchen and almost got knocked back by the smell of what she made. There was chicken, rice, spicy chicken and rice, and a whole lot of other spicy things. I fixed my plate getting as much as I could and took a bite. The taste almost knocked me back. The best restaurant I have gone to couldn't hold a candle to Lucy's cooking. I walked to the bedroom devouring everything.

"Natsu, you could have gotten seconds, instead of piling your plate up to the ceiling." I sat down beside her as she rolled her eyes, "Anyway, do ya like it? I pretty sure this is the first time I've cooked for you, isn't it?" I nodded since I couldn't talk with my mouth full.

I stopped for a moment to take a breath and say, "Hopefully this won't be the last time either. It's soooo good!" I continued eating until I ran out of food. I started to go get seconds but was pulled back down to the bedside by my vest.

"Let me get some more before you eat it all," Luce said getting up and started walking to the kitchen, soon to be back with another small plate. She finished a bite she had in her mouth and said, "Now you can go get seconds." dismissing me.

After everything was eaten, mostly by me, Luce took a shower and got ready for bed. I didn't even ask before she agreed on letting me sleep in her bed.

"Try not to snore as loud as last time tho." She added annoyed, as she walked over to me.

"Can't promise anything!" I laughed back at her laying in her bed.

"Move over! I need some room to sleep too, ya know!" I shuffled over as Luce got into the bed under the covers.

"You don't need the blanket to keep you warm," I said reaching over to hug her, "I'll keep you warm instead."

Before I could get my arm around her she told me," Don't even think about it." in a very cold voice. I pulled my arm back and leaned my head onto her back.

"Can I at least do this then?"

"I guess so, but," She rolled over onto her other side and put her head on my chest and hugged me. "wouldn't this be better?"

"Yes, this is much better." I replied, blushing a little, and pulled her closer to return the hug.

I woke up in the same position and heard water running in the bathroom. I noticed I wasn't as warm as I was last night and opened my eyes to see I was holding a pillow instead of a Lucy. I sat up lazily and looked around hoping to see her. Instead, I heard the water turn off and someone singing to herself. She had an angel's voice, I swear.

"I don't quite know…. How to say… How I feel… Those three words… Are said too much…. They're not enough…." Luce stopped singing as she came out of the bathroom and saw me awake.

"Goodmorning, Natsu. You slept well." She smiled sweetly, drying her hair in a towel.

"You have a pretty singing voice. Why don't- wait how do you know I slept well?"

"Simple you wouldn't let me go and when I finally got away you kept muttering my name. Hehe.." She smiled a little shyly. I blushed at that. She knows I dream about her now. I thought and wondered if she dreamed about me.

"A-Anyway, w-will you sing again? It sounds pretty." She looked at me and blushed, looking away.

"I-I don't like to sing very often… " She kept glancing at a box on a shelf.

"What's in it?" I asked looking back at her. She had locked her eyes on and I knocked her out of concentration.

"Ah- uh-... N-Nothing important!" I got up and went over to it, plucked it off the shelf and looked back at her.

"Can I open it?"

"N-NO!" She stepped forward defensively and put her arms out, "I-Its private! You can't look at it! Put it back!" She sounded pitiful and desperate, so I put it back.

"Will you show me, then?"

"Maybe… but not right now." She turned back to the bathroom, "I'm going to go get ready. Do not open that box, Natsu."

"Ok, I won't." I walked over to the window seal, "I'll head to the guild."

"Okay, cya." She said walking back into the bathroom, then muttered where I could bearly hear, "I love you..."  I looked back and saw the door of the bathroom close.

I then smiled and mumbled," I love you too, Lucy, with all my heart." I jumped down, out of the window, landed on the concrete, and sprinted off to the guild.
