RWBY x Division reader

Prologue

A/N: Again this is my first story so comment how it is so I can try to improve. Most of the prologue won't have dialogue as I'm establishing the story.

Location: Tidal Basin stronghold

Y/N POV:

Wyvern: You want to see the fireworks? You won't be disappointed. Target locked, iniating launch sequence.

Manny Ortega (over coms): Dear Christ. EVERYONE THIS IS NOT A DRILL, WE NEED TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING RIGHT NOW! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

ISAC System: Objective updated, save the capital building. Destroy the power generators and disable the rocket rocket launchers.

Upon inputting the code for the door bullets started firing. Immediately I run into cover and with a quick glance I saw that Wyvern's reinforcements arrived. With bullets pelting my cover I knew I had to do something or risk being flanked. Waiting for my moment I got out my seeker mine at the ready. I threw the seeker mine and a few seconds later I heard the sounds of my idea going into fruition, explosions followed by screaming. I got out of my cover and began to aim down my sights and burst-fired rounds with it hitting their target. Running to my left I began laying down suppressive fire looking for the power generators, but just my luck on the railway behind reinforced glass there seems to be a rogue agent and Wyvern. I'll have to deal with them later. Spotting the first generator I laid down fire at it and destroyed it. All of a sudden a drone hit and blinded me with a few bullets hitting me. Acting fast I threw down a hive to heal and a drone to cover me. Though the heal only aids temporarily until I get actual medical attention it'll do, but anyhow with this I started firing at black tusk blindly as the effects started wearing down. Luckily for me I shot at one right as they were gonna toss a grenade at me, unluckily it still made its mark and I had to run out of cover. Running and blindly gunning firing targets I finally gained my vision and switched targets shooting at a heavy's ammo box with his gun jamming. I ran to him pulling out Liberty with me putting six bullets into his skull and like that he fell down dead. Bullets flying all around me I made a quick dash towards the missile launch and began inputting the code. With more bullets hitting my arm I input the last digits.

Y/N: Damn, I'm gonna need a break after this. Is this all you got?! The Cleaners proved more of a challenge than you and they're sanitation workers. A stray bullet flew beside my head I thought to myself, well I'll regret it later.

Yeah...that kind of riled them up and with Wyvern and the rogue deciding to make their entrance. Wyvern with a rogue vs me. Pulling out Liberty and Trespasser I began firing at rapid succession. Liberty hitting Wyvern but because of the injured arm I only manage to graze the agent. In return I got hit yet again, this time it looks like I won't be coming out of this one. Dropping to the ground I laid myself against a wall looking at Wyvern and the rogue. Then I heard a sound and a bullet and at that moment I saw Wyvern still alive clutching her injury. The rogue fell down gasping for breath and laying in a pool of her own blood. To say the least this was quite the surprise.

Wyvern: Ah fuck, well agent you might've disabled the power generators and the rocket launchers but as a contingency I rigged the missiles to blow us all to hell seeing if this didn't go as plan. Now, I'm sure Sarah there would not want this to happen seeing as how she would die as well but since it looks like I'm dying you agents are going with me.

With that she pressed the detonator and the missiles blew up and a bright light showed and second later darkness consumed my vision.

Sarah POV: (Inside her thoughts)
So this is how I die. Not by the hands of an agent, the Green poison, or the JTF for that matter but by my own commander. Thinking back I remember how this moment came to be and why I went rogue in the first place.

Sarah (2 years before Tidal Basin)
You may be wondering how can I, an agent meant to ensure the continuation of the government go rogue and commit treason towards that I was sworn to protect? Well it all started when I was activated when the Green Poison hit Manhattan as a first wave agent. Following the JTF's abandoning the dark zones I was dissolution of why I'm still an agent and felt betrayed seeing how my squad died all for vain in an effort to secure the dark zone. I soon was captured days later during a routine patrol by Aron Keener and he gave me a choice, join his cause and go rogue or stay loyal to the government that abandoned our agents and die. I went rogue justifying it with blaming JTF for all the agents we had to leave behind. I would join the LMB to combat the JTF and avenge their deaths. With the destruction of Lieutenant General Colonel Bliss of the Last Man Battalion and my leader, Aron Keener, going missing I soon left Manhattan to avoid the new dominant faction of the Joint Task Force putting me as a high value target. I was soon contacted by the Black Tusk who offered a position among their ranks and was prepped for the invasion of Washington D.C. Despite the Black Tusk invading when the factions were at their weakest the Secret Homeland Division proved to be troublesome and soon pushed us back to our last stronghold of Tidal Basin. Efforts to secure the antiviral cylinders proved futile as the JTF and the Secret Homeland Division planned a surprise invasion of our stronghold.

With my final thoughts everything went dark but I woke up. Getting up it seems to me that I'm currently in a forest. Looking around I saw the agent. He was the reason why this all happen and he is the reason why I won't be able to avenge my squad. Pulling out Mystic I took aim and he looked at me.

Y/N POV:
I woke up in what seems to be a forest. Looking over my injuries I found it to be completely healed. Hmmm, well nothing to do now but find a way out and think about this later. Looking to my left I saw that rogue agent with her sidearm aiming at me. I knew I couldn't pull out my weapon in time and took her moment of hesitation to speak.

Y/N: Look I know I'm kinda the reason why we're both in this situation, but you and I both know we should be both dead.

She stared down at me contemplating whether or not she should pull the trigger. *Crack*
We both looked to our left and saw something strange, something that looks like it came from the depths of hell itself.

????: Rooooaaaarrr

The wolf or whatever the hell it was began charging straight at her. It lunges for the rogue agent but I quickly pulled out Trespasser and fired. Making short work of it we both walked up to it and began examine the disintegrating body.

Sarah: What the hell was that! She yelled looking at the corpse.

Y/N: Well I don't know but whatever the hell it was but it seems like we're no longer on Earth. Looking up I pointed at the broken moon confirming my suspicions. Well I don't know about you but we can either have ourselves a good Mexican stand-off or we can stand together.

Sarah: *Begrudgingly* Fine, but if you try to double cross me I'll put you down myself.

Y/N: Fine by me, anyhow what's your name?

Sarah: *Thinks a moment before saying* Thank you for what you did back there and I'm Sarah Gray, in the field I'm Hornet.

Y/N: Y/N Frost, Bluebird in the field. No problem I'm sure we got bigger problems than what we did previously.

Location: Beacon Academy

Ozpin POV:
Looking at my monitor it seems to have detected a strange energy source in the Emerald Forest. Pulling out my scroll I saw two people that looked rather peculiar.

Ozpin: Glynda call in team RWBY immediately. Looking at the strange figures I think to myself, looks like this year will get a lot more interesting. *Grabs mug of coffee and sips intently*
