Ch 12 The Calm Before a Storm

I'm still with Sarah in the infirmary. Just waiting to see if any signs of her waking up but Ruby has other ideas.

Ruby: (walking in) Y/N!!!

Y/N: What? Quiet down you do realize your in a infirmary?

Ruby: Oh, sorry. Anyways you need some fresh air, Sarah wouldn't want you cooped up all day.

Y/N: (sighs) Fine I guess. What do you have in mind?

Ruby: (quickly grabs arm) Let's go and meet Weiss's sister!

Nurse: Shhh!

Ruby: Sorry.

With that she speeds off holding Y/N arm as he is literally dragged along.

Ruby: We're here!

Y/N: I gotta ask does Weiss know anything of this?

Ruby: Nope. I'm the official team leader, and that means I must worry of my teammates well being. Since your part of my team that includes you as well. She says smugly.

Y/N: You're not wrong but not right either. (notices a white hair female resembling Weiss) Uh Ruby I think that person with Atlas robots behind her might be her sister.

Ruby: And Weiss is right there! Let's go.

They walk over there just as Weiss seems to be struggling talking to her sister.

Weiss: Winter so, what are you doing here?

Winter: Classified.

Weiss: Oh, right. Well, how long are you staying?

Winter: Classified.

Y/N: Looking at the uniform I'd say she is a higher up but not too high, maybe a second in command. She is probably gonna either report to General Ironwood or to Ozpin.

Upon hearing my remark to Ruby she turned around staring daggers at me.

Winter: I'll have you know that it's specialist.

Y/N: Would you like to say that again? I've dealt with my fair share of higher ups and they varied. The only difference is some share a poor attitude to their subordinates due to the higher position.

Winter: And what is your rank soldier?

Y/N: I hold no rank. I'm not an elite unit in the traditional sense.

By now Winter realizes who she was talking to. Ironwood notified her earlier of the situation happening around Beacon with two special additions added to their rooster.

Winter: U...Uh do you happen to be a Y/N Frost?

Y/N: Yes, that happens to be my given name.

Winter: I'm sorry for this slight altercation. General Ironwood notified me earlier of your team and I didn't realize you're him.

Y/N: It's okay. I came here due to the request of my current team leader, Ruby Rose.

Winter: Current? Why are you on my sister's team?

Y/N: (saddened) It is better if you ask your General as I'm sure he has the reports of that night.

Winter: I'll be sure to do that. So this is the leader you wrote of. How appropriately... underwhelming. She says to Weiss.

Ruby: That's me! Wait uh... Thank you!
