Ch 14 A Scavenger Hunt and a Date

I looked over the first clue. It said, "Since we first met on Tidal Basin, and can't return the next clue is where we agreed to work side by side." With the first clue in hand I went off to the Emerald Forest with the drone and burster fireflies close by. Guess he put it deeper in the Emerald Forest if he planned this.

Sarah POV

I was walking to Emerald Forest with an armed drone and Burster Fireflies nearby, and as you can guess it made students clear the way. They remembered the clips of the initiation and how relatively quick they killed Grimm. I arrived at the Emerald Forest, and what surprised me the most was the amount of Grimm that laid dead.

Sarah: When did you managed to kill all these Grimm exactly?

Y/N's drone: Ugh. You would not believe the amount we had to take out setting up turrets and drones to make the area more safe.

As he said that rounds started going off in the background indicating Grimm were nearby. Burster flies started flying to the location only for me to hear explosions moments later. With it returning I started walking again looking at the map to find the location. I was talking to
Y/N while shots were fired.

Sarah: So Y/N it's hard to believe that at one point I tried to kill you. I'm glad I didn't. She says smiling.

Y/N's drone: Yeah I'm glad you didn't kill me either since you know the whole dead thing.

Sarah: (laughing) And in a ironic twist of fate I would have been killed by that Grimm you saved me from.

Continuing forward I was nearing the location. I was just waiting for the Issac System to notify that the clue was close by.

ISAC System: Collectible nearby.

Looking for what seemed like twenty minutes I finally found the note. Taking the note off a tree I read, "you found out the first clue, yay! The next location is where we fought side by side for the first time. I got injured protecting you there."

Sarah: I swear Y/N you can be so childish sometimes.

Y/N's drone: In my defense you were the one that confessed to me first. I honestly figured I would try to do it when there was a dance.

Sarah: That dance was in the semester.

Y/N's drone: As I'm sure you know it is hard to confess to someone. Besides there was the whole saving Blake thing and dealing with the consequences.

Sarah: (remembering) And those actions, and consequences we shared finally made me realized that I did loved you.

Y/N: Honestly I probably would have gone through a complicated plan to confess. I would probably need a lot of cookies to pay Ruby though.

The walk to where the battle laid place was a quiet one at that as Y/N needed to make some arrangements. Gazing over the area I saw the scars of the battle with patches of grass burnt like charcoal with bullets lodging itself in the nearby trees. Bullet casings stranded on the floor indicating that a battle once took place. This was the battle is where I knew that Y/N had my back; he almost lost his life protecting mine.

ISAC System: Collectible nearby

Studying the area I spotted the note in the ruined temples. The note said, "You found the next note. Look I know this place most was bad memories, but just know I would do it again to protect you. The next clue is where we became an official couple and shared our first kiss."
