Ch 3 Initiation and Semblances Pt 2

Ozpin: Glynda help Sarah get Y/N in the bullhead. I'm gonna make arrangements for the infirmary to be on standby.

They got Y/N to the bullhead and Sarah began asking one of the paramedics questions as they begin to start patching him up.

Sarah: Will he make it?

Paramedic: Yes, thanks to your work earlier he will make it. Without it the blood loss would have killed him by now.

Time skip a week by Sarah waiting next to
Y/N to wake up from his unconscious state.

Sarah POV thinking back to what happened

Upon touching down we made our way to the infirmary. The doctors did all they and good news is that he doesn't need surgery and is stable condition. Bad news is that he seems to be in an unconscious state. Ozpin called me in on stage asking for the relics. I wanted to stay with Y/N but I knew I couldn't ignore this.

Ozpin: Sarah the relics if you will. From this day forward Y/N and Sarah will be known as Team ARTK led by Y/N.

It then proceeded to show clips of their feats with the crowd gasping at it. At one point it showed the amount of Grimm being killed with the trap that Y/N thought of. The next showed what happened with Y/N as suddenly his mags were refilled and the time he saved me. It was rather strange as it seemed he unlocked his semblance. The other clip was showed that there may be another part to it as a strange light went into the mag; I was thinking that there was no way that single bullet would've penetrated it's mask and kill it. The final clip showed me shooting up Grimm with the Partisan and the light projection proceeded by me firing Crimson.

There was murmurs from the crowds. Some asking who were they and how are they joining late. The others point at their strange technology with how they don't use any melee weapons of any kinds. Though there was a sense that these people were more to meet the eye and the clips proved it.

Ozpin: Ahem, now you all may be wondering where is Y/N. Well the fight turned against their favor, and as you saw by the clips he got injured protecting his team. Against all odds he is alive currently in the infirmary but he is an unconscious state. You're now all dismiss.

The group of students began making their way out of the training grounds. Ozpin turns to Sarah looking as if he was gonna say more but waited until the students left.

Ozpin: It seems as if you two have unlocked your semblances. You will start classes once   Y/N wakes up and is healed. You have my condolences as you two seem very close. He signs then says, I'm afraid I must go.

With that he leaves. Sarah makes her way back to the infirmary, but with each student that she passed by they stopped and stared. She was started to get annoyed by it and began running to avoid the glances. The glances reminding her of the times Black Tusk soldiers murmured behind her back of her being a rogue agent.

Flashback ending

Over these past few days I stayed with Y/N not leaving or sleeping drinking coffee to stay awake. Team RWBY checked up on us leaving food and along with a team called JNPR. They seem nice, but as I was thinking of this my attention was pulled by Y/N suddenly waking up thrashing about. He suddenly bolts up to then look at me.

Y/N POV
Y/N: Where am I and how long was I out?

Sarah: You been out for a couple of days and we're in the infirmary she says with tears in her eyes. I've been so worried, the doctors said you were in stable condition but they didn't knew when you would wake. You're the only person I know that has treated me like a person ever since my squad died even though you know of my past. I've been waiting ever since not sleeping.

Y/N listened as he remembered what happened a week back. Looking at Sarah he pulled her into a hug seeing as how she needed one. Surprised by this she accepted it and returned it.

Y/N: Shhh, it's all okay. I'm alive aren't I and it was worth it. So I used up my last bullet saving you but I wouldn't have it any other way. Also not to ruin the mood or anything, but to be honest I kinda figured that I was gonna die because you know the blood loss. I wanted for at least one of us to survive.

Feeling that she stopped crying he stopped and ask about what happened.

Sarah: Team RWBY and a Team called JNPR came in, they seemed nice. Ozpin already did the announcements and now we are officially Team ARTK. You are also leading us. He also stated what happened out there with you and the bullets. That final shot of yours along with me with the light protection seemed to be linked to our semblances.

Y/N: That is a lot to take in. While that was happening I felt as if some of my aura was taken away to do so. I think I'll call it Aura Tap. I wonder if I can take aura out of other people as well.

Sarah: Really? You barley got out alive and after hearing the news that you unlocked your semblance you decided to name it? She sighs, then remembered that she isn't so different from him. Upon finding out she named hers Hard Light Shield. She mentions this to Y/N.

Y/N: That seems like a good one. Now if you excuse me Sarah I'm going to rest again. I still don't have my energy.

Sarah: I'll stay. I waited this long and I'll wait until you're released. We are a team after all she said in a sleepily manner.

I nodded and began to rest but it seemed like she fell asleep first. These past few days must of taken out a lot from her I thought. She laid her head on me with her hand clasping mine intertwining them. I was surprised from this action but went with it. In the corner of my eye I saw Team RWBY cheering at how I finally woke up with Yang taking a photo. I take a mental note of this thinking about how I'm gonna need to ask for it later. I closed my eyes and darkness drifted in. You both dream thinking how this year has a lot to store for you two especially since your hanging out Team RWBY.

A/N: As mentioned this will head the direction of Y/N and Sarah. I noticed that each chapter gets roughly below ten but I'm okay with this. To the viewers it would be appreciated for any suggestions or comments seeing as how again this is my first story. I have a general idea that the story will end with the aftermath of the Battle for Beacon so I'm trying to think of the material for the in between.
