Chapter 7: Threat

The two females known as Ashley and Sylvie were walking down the streets away from Star Shade. The two had decided to meet up after class was over so that they could try and do something a bit more fun together, and the two had decided on going to the outskirts of town so that Ashley could help Sylvie get a better grip on her powers and just what she's capable of. However, the two weren't silent and at the moment Ashley was actually laughing a bit. "So yeah, at that point everyone was staring and I just panicked-" Sylvie began as she looked at the female beside her. 

As she said this however Ashley heard something, it sounded slight clicking sound, almost like a small rock had been tossed over some concrete. "I can see how that would be embarrassing, I don't know what I would do in a situation like that," Ashley confessed as she looked at the female in front of her. She was trying to listen to Sylvie's story however that sound had put her on high alert for the time being.

Most others wouldn't have even heard the small clicking sound, and those that did most likely would have just disregarded. However, Ashley knew better than to make a mistake like that in a world like this. In a world were your best friend could turn out to be your worst nightmare and betray in an instant, she knew better than to just disregard these common sounds. However, at the same time, she didn't want to just jump to conclusions as she had done before. 

"But yeah, it was still kind of fun, although I'm still not allowed back at the bowling alley," Sylvie said as she looked at the female in front of her. Ashley smiled hearing this and nodded with a smile. 

"You think that's bad, you should some of the people that come to ask me for favors," Ashley said as looked at the female in front of her. 

"Such as?" Sylvie asked as she looked at the female in front of her. 

"Well, uh . . . well first off are you familiar with what Jackalope milk does?" Ashley asked as she looked at the female in front of her. When she asked this Sylvie shook her head and Ashley's face turned a slight shade of pink showing that she was rather embarrassed with what she was saying. 

"Well, then I guess the first thing I should tell you is that Jackalope milk will often act like a really powerful . . . a-aphrodisiac," Ashely said as she looked at the female in front of her. Sylvie seemed a bit surprised hearing this and snickered slightly hearing this. "Yeah I know, that's the response most people have when they hear that. Anyway, sometimes a guy or even girls for that matter, will come up to me and ask me for some when they have trouble getting in the mood," Ashley said as she looked at Sylvie causing her to look at her shocked. 

Sylvie then clenched her jaw down and tried to keep it closed, however, the smile on her face and the quivering of her lips made it very obvious that she was trying to keep in a laugh. "It's okay, you can laugh," Ashley said as she looked at Sylvie and after saying this the Sylvie burst out laughing and Ashley sighed as she listened to her trying to wait for her to finish so they could continue talking. 

However, as she listened Ashley once again heard something, this time it sounded like air moving as if something were being thrown or moving at a rather fast pace. Ashley once again tensed up feeling this and looked at Sylvie starting to grow increasingly nervous. "I'm sorry, it's just . . . I never I'd hear anything as silly as the idea of people coming up to you, and asking you for your breast milk so that they could get horny," Sylvie said as she looked at the female in front of her. 

"Yeah," Ashley said as she looked down a bit embarrassed. She wasn't sad or upset, it was just embarrassing for her. "Unfortunately it's also got a rather unfortunate side-effect as well, it's sadly the reason I earned one of my nicknames around campus," Ashley said as her face turned a bit red, this part for her was actually more embarrassing than people coming up to her.
