Roslyn sighed as she walked into the small room that she had been provided and when she did she saw Mago sitting on her bed. Roslyn snarled slightly seeing the male, she didn't have anything against him. However, she didn't like the idea of someone breaking into her room without her permission. "Can I help you?" Roslyn asked as she looked at the male in front of her.
"Ah indeed you can little vampira, you see after your excellent performance on the past few missions. It's finally the time to see if you are worthy of becoming a Lore Keeper," Mago said as he looked at the female in front of him. Roslyn was shocked hearing this and looked at the male in front of her.
"Are you sure about that? After all, you all have been trying to keep me on a leash for some time now," Roslyn said as she looked at the male in front of her. This statement of hers was true the Condottieri's had been trying to keep a close eye on her for a while now.
"We are aware of the risk we are taking, however, you have proven time and time again your loyalty to us. We will be giving you full permission to hunt when and where you see fit, with only a few restrictions. One is that we ask that you don't go after political figures, or at least not powerful ones. The other being that you don't get to reckless, after all, we're not perfect and while we have access to a lot, we don't have access to everything," Mago said as he looked at the female in front of him.
When he said this Roslyn smiled, she'd finally be free to do as she wished. "Alright, so what do I have to do?" Roslyn asked as she looked at the male in front of her. Mago smiled hearing this and stood up from her bed.
"I'll give you five minutes to gather any weapons or tools you wish to use. I want you to be as prepared as possible. Please get anything and everything you'll need to be at you best," Mago said as he walked out of the room. When he did Roslyn smiled and began to prepare herself gathering anything she thought might have been useful for the test. Once she had gotten everything she needed she walked out of the room and looked at Mago.
The male smiled seeing her and began to walk down the halls of the building. "Follow me," Mago said with a smile as he began walking down the halls of the building. As he did Roslyn followed closely behind him and Mago turned back to look at her. "So if you don't mind me asking, why did you decide to turn into a vampire?" Mago asked as he looked at the female in front of him. When he asked this Roslyn tensed up slightly but not wanting to ruin her chance of being promoted decided to answer him.
"I didn't," Roslyn said as she looked at the male in front of her. "I was turned against my will, back whenever I was still human. I was seeing someone, I'm sure you've heard the stereotype of tall, dark, and handsome. Just being around him made me weak in the knees, then one night he invited me back to his house. I thought I was going to get lucky, but instead he gouged out one of my eyes and turned me into what I am now," Roslyn said as she looked at the male in front of her.
"I see, I assume he left you for dead?" Mago asked as he looked back at her.
"No, or maybe he tried and I was just too stupid to see it. I stayed with him for a while, and he taught me how to be a vampire, how to hunt without getting caught, and what I could do to avoid suspicion. Then one day I snapped, and I took my revenge. Then one day I was found by this place, they told me they could help me as long as I cooperated with them, so I did and I have to admit I haven't really had much to complain about since," Roslyn explained as she looked at the male in front of her.
"I see, what a sad tale little vampira," Mago said as he looked at the female continuing down the halls. As they did Roslyn began to notice where they were heading, it was the training room. "So tell me, I have read several reports about garlic and holy water, working on vampires, and then some that say that it didn't even make creature flinch. So do these tricks work or no?" Mago asked as he looked at the female in front of him.
