Marriage is a sacred event. Himbis na nag-cecelebrate na kami ngayon dahil tapos na ang kasal eh. They were right. Always expect the un-expected; you’ll never know what would happen today or tomorrow.
As of now, pinaghahanap pa rin yung taong gumawa nun. Napatayo ako agad ng operating room nung lumabas yung doctor.
“Who’s the parents of the patient?” tanong nito.
Wala si Granny dahil hinimatay to kanina sa mga nangyari. Si Rae naman ayaw niya raw makitang ganito yung Ate niya kaya sinamahan muna siya ni Yuan sa bahay. Si Ashley at Louis lang ang kasama ko ngayon.
“I’m his cousin, how is she doc?” Louis.
“We successfully removed the bullet inside her body, but I’m sad to say that both of her kidneys were damaged. She needs to undergo kidney transplant. As of now she’s in a critical condition” Doc.
“Can I be a donor?” tanong ni Ashley out of the blue.
“We still need to examine you” Doc.
“I want to be examined too” sabi ko.
“Me too. Can you examine us as soon as possible?” tanong ni Louis.
Tumawag muna siya ng isang nurse. Nagusap sila sa salitang french bago bumaling ulit samin.
“Wait for that nurse. She’ll give you papers to sign and then after that, they can start examining you, I’ll go ahead” Doc
“What would happen i-if--” Louis cut Ashley.
“Nothing’s gonna happen okay? She will be fine” Louis. Yumakap sa kanya si Ashley at umiyak.

“I’m sorry but neither one of you doesn’t matched the patient’s” anunsyo ng doctor pag tapos niyang basahin yung files. “But she’s on top of the donor’s list, let’s just pray. I’ll be going” sabi niya at tumalikod.
Sa ngayon tulog pa rin si Francine. Hindi pa kami tumatawag sa bahay dahil ayaw namin magbalita ng negative. Pero kailangan pa rin nilang malaman.
“Umuwi na muna kayo, ako nang bahala dito” sabi ko kay Louis at Ashley.
“No. I’ll stay” pagmamatigas ni Ashley.
“Ash. Magpahinga ka na muna. Sige na Louis, iuwi mo na muna siya. Ikaw na ang bahalang magsabi sa kanila” hindi naman siya nagpumilit pa at sumama na rin kay Louis pauwi.
