Chapter 10
Same day (9:00am)
“Can’t I go to school in the same car with Rae?” tanong ko kay Louis. As for now siya yung tumutulong samin mag-adopt dito sa palasyo ‘daw’ eh hello. Modern day na ngayon, uso pa ba yung mga palace na ganyan?
“You’re not allowed to. Mahigpit yung bilin ni lola, kahit nga ako bawal sumakay sa kotse mo eh. Tska may kanya kanya tayong assigned na body guard” sabi niya. Psh! Sungit.
“Tapos bawal din ako makipagusap sa school ng walang permiso? Tss. So unfair. Pano na lang yung mga friends ko?” tanong ko sa kanya. Oo tama. Pano nalang sila Mizaki, Steph at Elaiza. Lalo na si Ashley.
“Don’t worry about it. You can talk to them, ofcouse. Hindi naman pwedeng bigla mo nalang silang iwasan hindi ba? I’m also going to enroll to your school today” for what? Para na naman bakuran kami? Tss. Eh may body guard na nga.
“Rule no. 1 do not go outside the palace’ premises without any permission from whoever is in-charged with taking care of the palace which is for now? It’s me. No. 2 if you’re allowed to go out, you need to have your body guards with you wherever you may go. Understand? WHEREVER” pinagdiinan pa talaga niya sakin yung wherever. Tss!
“Okay! I already got it! Tss. I’m going in. I don’t wanna be late” sabi ko at tumalikod na sakanya para sumakay sa backseat nung kotse na para daw sa akin. But I am not allowed to drive. Tsk!
After 1 and a half hour. Sht! I’m late. Good thing is wala daw yung prof namin. Nasa meeting. Hays! Tinapos ko pa naman yung mga plates ko tapos wala pala siya? Umupo nalang ako sa arm chair ko at hinayaan na lang yung mga bulung bulungan. Which is I know, Casey and her julalers.
“Where you’ve been? First time mo ma-late ah” sabi ni Elaiza
“We already moved in, medyo malapit na sa dulo ng city kaya ang tagal ng byahe. Tsk!” bored kong sagot sa kanya.
“Oo nga pala girl. Nakita ko kanina si Ram sa gate” automatic na napatingin ako kay Mizaki pagkasabi niya nun.
“Kinausap ka ba niya?” may halong pity sa mga mata ni Mizaki. She’s the type of girl na madaling maawa.
“Yeah. He’s asking me your where abouts, and he’s also asking for your number. I couldn’t even contact you either” sagot ni Mizaki.
“Oo nga girl. San ka na naman napapadpad?” singit naman ni Steph.
