Warnings: Smut-ish (if you want to call it that? More mature than my previous oneshots!)

Sirius, James, and Peter were in the common room celebrating the most recent win for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. They beat the Slytherin team. Again. So, naturally, there was a big party thrown to support the star players of the Lion's Den.
James, being the party-hard type that everyone knew him to be, was drinking alcohol like the world's supply would only last to the end of the night. Peter was moping off to the side, filling the lonely space with his depressed mood as he attempted to eat and drink his feelings away. Normally, Peter would be cheering his star-player-best-friend on, but he had recently discovered his first girlfriend – of one week – was cheating on him.
Sirius felt bad for his poor chubby friend. He was sitting at a table staring off into space as he thought about Peter's girl problems. He felt a small sense of pride in the fact that he doesn't even bother with girls. It wasn't that Sirius was gay, because he wasn't. At least that's what he constantly told his friends and himself. However, he, admittedly, had a little crush on his friend, Remus. Yeah, little.
Little like the size of a circle with the diameter being the distance between the moon and the star he was named after.
Sirius felt a connection with Remus that he couldn't even imagine having with anyone else in the world. Remus was that only one to ever see him cry. He held a very special place in Sirius' heart. They were best friends. Even with the unspoken, yet obvious, sexual tension that had always been between the two of them.
Neither had ever admitted how much they wished they were more than friends.
Sirius was head over heels in love with Remus. He loved everything about him. Even his little quirks. In fact, his quirks were what Sirius loved most about him.
Sirius had asked Remus to join him and their friends in the celebration, but he turned down the offer. He seemed to be extremely stressed when he climbed the stairs to their dorm room. Sirius assumed that Remus was probably finishing up some homework that wouldn't be due for another week, or something boring that would most likely add to his unneeded stress.
With a sigh, Sirius decided to go check on him. He stood up and started making his way to the stairs that led to the boy's dormitories. James had just won his third drinking contest, triggering an eruption of cheers from everyone watching. Through the group of his excitedly praising Gryffindor peers, James spotted Sirius walking away and quickly stumbled through a small cluster of girls sitting on the floor next to the couch. He paused to smile cockily at the girls, presenting pink cheeks from both mild embarrassment and the excessive amount of alcohol he'd consumed, when he barely saved himself from tripping over them.
"Hey, Padfoo! Leavin' so soon?" James slurred his question as he draped his arm around the slightly shorter boy's shoulders. Sirius quickly shrugged his best friend off.
"I'm gonna go check up on Moony," he explained, crossing his arms.
"Oh, you can't go two seconds without your boyfriennn, can you, Sir'us?" James teased with a knowing smirked and rolled his eyes. Though Sirius hadn't admitted anything aloud, James and Peter were both aware of the distinct tension that had developed between their two canine companions over the years. It was getting so overwhelming that not only Peter and James, but everyone else in Hogwarts, found it difficult to be in the same room with the pair. It was so intense and blatantly obvious to everyone other than the completely oblivious involved parties. Everyone just wanted the two to admit their feelings for one another. Even the Slytherins that despised the Marauders were growing irritated with the amount of suspenseful apprehension that radiated between the two Gryffindors.
