Sirius' P.O.V.

I was laying in my four-poster bed, mentally listing every detail, big and small, that I loved about Remus. He was perfect in every way, even his flaws were perfectly imperfect. Each scar that blemished his skin had a story that proved the bravery and strength he refused to admit he possessed. I just wish he would look at himself the way I see him.

Before we had discovered that Remus was a werewolf, James and I, regrettably, questioned why he had been placed in Gryffindor. His appearance did not give off any sense that he was brave or loyal at first glance. We were the same way with Peter, and we still are, if I'm being honest. It's more teasing now because he gets scared so easily. But he is very loyal to the Marauders, even if he does follow James around like a rat chasing cheese.

Anyway, the moment James, Peter and I discovered Remus' secret, we realized that he was not the scared, jumpy, nerdy boy we believed him to be. He was truly the bravest Marauder, Gryffindor, student, and person amongst the entire population of Hogwarts—students and teachers included. That recognition was only confirmed when we watched his painful transformation for the first time. It has always been heartbreaking to watch the love of my life go through the agonizing pain the full moon forces on him every month.

My thoughts were interrupted by the movement of the curtains around my bed. They were pulled apart to reveal the beautiful, tall, sandy-haired werewolf I am so fortunate to call my boyfriend. He wordlessly climbed into my bed beside me and drew the curtains back together. I smiled at him, though he couldn't see it with his back turned to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked, trying to whisper, but my voice came out a bit louder than I anticipated. Remus turned around, presenting the rare smirk that only the Marauders every get to see.

"I want to sleep with you," he answered mockingly. He climbed under my covers and pulled me into his chest. A long arm wrapped itself around my waist as Remus pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead. I smiled and kissed his chest right above his heart.

"You're so clingy..." I joked, glancing up to meet his breathtaking green eyes. He playfully glared at me until I added, "I love it."

Remus smiled, leaving another lingering kiss on my forehead. I shifted so I was resting my weight on my elbow as I looked down at his beautifully scarred face. "I love you so much, Remmy," I whispered, brushing some of his blonde hair out of his eyes. I rested my hand on his jaw, running my thumb along his cheekbone. I felt his face heat up under my hand, bringing a smile to my face, mixed with awe at how adorable he was and pride that I was still able to make him blush after over a year of being in a relationship.

"I love you too, Siri. More than you will ever know."

I smiled and leaned my head down, capturing his soft, pink lips with my own. I felt Remus' smile against my lips as they moved together. He had one arm around my waist, holding me close to him, as his other hand tangled itself in my hair. My only free hand slipped under the hem of his shirt and rested on the soft skin that stretched over his bony hip. I felt his tongue run across my bottom lip, but I decided to be playful and make him work for any advancements. He always did that to me, so it was only fair.

I felt a hand slide down the back of my boxers, his warm hand skimming against my bare bum. At the same time that Remus squeezed my bum, he pulled at my hair with his other hand, emanating a surprised gasp from me. He didn't waste a second before slipping his tongue into my mouth, meeting mine. We fought for dominance, until he won, distracting me with the hand that continued skillfully massaging my backside. His tongue explored my mouth for a bit, grazing over the back of my teeth. I shuddered and moaned softly.

After what felt like years, but also not long enough, I finally pulled away. We were both panting and grinning wide enough to challenge a Cheshire cat. I kissed Remus' cheek and laid back down, tucking my head against his neck. The only thing going through my mind was how lucky I was.

"You know, sometimes I wonder what I did right to be loved by him," I thought.

"Him?" Remus asked, confusion clear in his quiet tone. I felt heat rising to my cheeks as I buried my face further into his neck.

"Did I just say that out loud?" I asked, growing a darker shade of red as embarrassment consumed me. Remus let out a small chuckle.

"Yes, Pads. You did. Who's him?" he pushed.

"You. You are him, Moony," I admitted quietly. I felt a kiss on the top of my head, bringing a smile to my face.

"You know, I wonder the same thing sometimes," he whispered. I kissed his neck gently and sighed, feeling sleep sneaking into my mind.

"You have no need to wonder that. In my eyes, you're perfect in every way. The fact that you exist was all that was needed for me to love you."

"You're so cheesy, Sirius," Remus laughed.

"I'm just stating the truth, Remus. Now go to sleep!" I whispered, moving my hand that was still tucked under Remus' shirt up to rest on his chest.

"Alright, g'night Pads. I love you," he whispered, leaving one final kiss on the top of my head as he pulled me closer to him.

"I love you, too. G'night, Moons," I whispered back, snuggling closer to his side as sleep finally took me from my conscious state.
