Confession (Part 12)

An hour finally passes, 6:00pm.

I hear a knock at the door, it's her. I've never been more nervous, my breath gets shaky, my hands start to shake, my heart is racing. I make my way downstairs and open the door and there she is, she's stunning. Her beautiful blonde hair, and those ocean blue eyes. She's everything.

"Well hello there Rose!" Sarah says with a smile.

Come on Rose you can do this, we do this all the time. All you have to do is confess later on.

"Hello Sarah" I say, i can't even look her in the eye without feeling flustered.

"Shall we go now?" Sarah asks

"Yes of course" I Reply

We go and make our way down to our secret place in the forest where we always go. And just like last time she takes my hand, we always do this but knowing I have feelings for her it just strikes me with nervousness.

We reach a hilltop and sit under a tree with only silence between us enjoying the sight. It's all so beautiful, i look at Sarah...she's beautiful too. But then it hits me, I think it's time.

"Sarah..." I say.

i sounded so nervous. I hope i don't mess this up.

"Yes Rose?"

"I, I have a confession to make. And it's very serious."

"Well what is it?"

I want this moment to be perfect, i get up and so does she. I take her hand and look her in the eye

"Sarah, i- i... I like. I like you. Not only that but, I'm in love with you."

I start to tear up from all the pressure, my legs are shaking so much i feel like i could collapse.

"I'm Lesbian Sarah, i like women."

She looks so shocked and she doesn't even reply, did I mess up? Is she disgusted by me?

"Rose i-"

She falls to her knees and starts to tear up as well

"Rose. So am i... I'm a Lesbian, and i love you too. I've wanted to tell you for a while but i was so afraid of getting rejected since so many people think it's wrong"

She likes me too.. I can't beleive it. All I can do is stand there in disbelief.

"Sarah"

I help her up

"Sarah I never expected this. But at the same time it fills me with joy knowing we share the same feelings."

Sarah smiles

"Me too. Now, shall we walk back before it gets dark? And then tomorrow we can discuss more of this...?"

"Of course."

We walk back to my house and it's already dark. I turn to her and give her a hug

"Goodbye Sarah, it's been a confusing day from all those feelings being let out."

"It sure has been. Goodbye Rose"

I begin to walk to the door but something stops me

"Rose wait!"

I turn back

"What it is?"

She slowly walks to me and caresses my face

"I love you.."

It feels weird hearing her say that again but it brings me joy and i love her too.

"I lo-"

I get cut off by a sudden kiss from Sarah. It only lasts a second since it was only a peck on the lips

"I'm sorry, maybe i shouldn't have done that.."

"No no Sarah it's okay. I...liked it."

We both smile and say goodbye again. Then return home.
