Myungsoo twisted his ring around his finger, frowning slightly as he stared out the window. The Werewolf Lord's figure was making its way towards the woods, a small bag strapped to his large wolf. He couldn't help the sense of dread that coiled around his stomach.
He did not know why the King was antagonizing the Werewolf Lord so much – it almost made him angry. It was almost like he was trying to make the Accords fail. He chewed on his bottom lip and sighed.
He hoped the Lord would not face repercussions from having to sniff out the culprit responsible for the attack. He doubted the wolves who had attacked were only from the Moon pack; it seemed impossible, with the numbers they had.
Unfortunately, he wasn't very fluent when it came to werewolf packs.
There was a knock on the door to his chambers, and then it opened. He did not have to look to see who it was. "Master Myungsoo," Moonsoo said, hands clasped behind his back. "The King requests your presence."
With a silent sigh, the vampire cast a look out the window and stood, but the Werewolf Lord had already disappeared within the confines of the forest.

Jinsun returned to his human form as soon as he had reached the Riverock pack border, pulling clothes out from his bag. If anyone had aided the Moon pack in their attack, it would have been them. Jinsun gritted his teeth, cursing the King; he truly did not care to find out who had let them in.
He had killed his best friend to prove to the King that he had acted against orders. His fists curled, pushing crescent shapes into his palms. The Accords were failing, all because of that pompous king; regardless, he could not let his true feelings show on the matter. He had a duty and a responsibility as the Werewolf Lord of this area.
He would not fail his packs any longer.
His ears picked up on the sounds of a scuffle, and a woman's cry. His eyebrows furrowed and he started to jog towards the sound, growing faster and faster.
He broke into the pack's camp, and in the center was a woman – a wolf, evidently. She was on the ground, surrounded by others. They spat insults at her, and she shied away from them.
One raised a hand to strike her, and Jinsun's eyes widened as he reached forward and caught the hand in his steely grip. All wolves turned to look at him, wide-eyed and pale-faced.
"What is the meaning of this?" He shoved through the crowd and knelt down beside the woman. Various bruises littered her body and she flinched when he placed a hand on her shoulder. "What is your name?" he asked softly and she looked up at him through teary eyes.
She blinked furiously and wiped at her eyes with the back of her hands. "K-Kim Eunae." Her voice quivered, and he couldn't help but notice how slim and bony she was; had they not been feeding her?
He gritted his teeth, anger burning in his veins. What had the Alpha of the Riverock been doing while his packmate had been abused? He would need to have a word with Alpha Han Beomseok on the matter.
He stood up, glaring down at the wolves gathered around her. They all shrank back, and he was fully aware that his eyes were glowing. "Do you take pleasure in abusing those weaker than you?" He could tell with just a glance that she was relatively weak for a wolf.
The wolf who was about to strike her stared at him with wide, fearful eyes. Even though he wasn't the tallest man alive by far, he still seemed to tower over the lot of them. "Does it bring you joy to see her in such a state?" His eyes were glowing brighter, now.
The wolf shook his head vehemently. "N-No! It's just she's... she's related to him!" he cried, scrambling back.
Jinsun's eyes narrowed and he took a step closer. "Who?"
"T-The traitor! The wolf who was... who was turned into a... a vampire." Jisung's eyebrows raised, but his glower did not subside.
"And? Why is that such a problem?" The wolf flinched away. "Does it matter who our ancestors are? Does it matter what they have done? Is it our fault?" He stepped closer until their chests were almost touching.
The wolf looked as though he was ready to shit himself.
"What's going on here?" Jinsun leaned back and looked up, face cooled and eyes back to their shade of brown. Alpha Beomseok stepped forth, arms crossed over his chest.
"It would seem that I cannot leave you unattended for more than a few minutes, Alpha Beomseok." The alpha's eyes narrowed, and he did look angry, though he knew not to show it; Jinsun was infinitely stronger than he.
"This," he turned back to Eunae, who looked terrified of her own alpha; his fists clenched even tighter, "is absolutely unacceptable." He faced Beomseok again. "We werewolves pride ourselves on our loyalty to our packs. And what is this? Is this loyalty? Is this the werewolf way?" Beomseok met his eyes, his gaze unwavering.
"No, sir." He replied through gritted teeth, and he could see the hatred in his eyes for the poor girl; she couldn't have been very old. In her teenage years, perhaps.
Jinsun sighed and closed his eyes, massaging the bridge of his nose. "She will return with me to the Sun pack." Eunae's eyes snapped up towards him, wide and surprised – perhaps even a bit scared. "And if I ever hear of such an occurrence again, I will not be so lenient." Alpha Beomseok nodded, though clearly with much effort on his part.
Jinsun extended a hand towards the girl. She looked at him for a few moments before she hesitantly grabbed his hand. Jinsun had a feeling he knew who had let the wolves into the Crimson Castle.

They hadn't made it very far when a shadowy figure suddenly appeared in front of them; Jinsun knew who it was immediately, and his eyes slid over towards the young girl beside him who, upon seeing the figure, bolted passed him to throw herself into his arms.
"Hyunsik!" The vampire looked over at Jinsun, eyes flashing red in a blatant threat.
Jinsun simply smiled at him. "You mustn't worry. I have no interest in harming her." He stepped closer, hands tightly clasped behind his back, face serious now. Without another word he knelt in front of them, placing his right fist down against the ground. Eunae gasped, and he didn't have to look to know that Kim Hyunsik looked at him in shock, too.
"Forgive me. If I had known what went on within one of my Allied packs, I would not have let it go on, I swear to you. I have failed you as Werewolf Lord of the West. Whatever I may grant you, I will if it is within my power."
Hyunsik's eyes had reverted back to their original shade, now. "You have already done more than enough, milord. You have saved her from those who wished to harm her, all for being my descendant. And for that I am indebted to you."
Jinsun raised his eyes as he stood, dusting off his clothing. "I will not tell the King about this, either. I will not tell him you allowed the werewolves to enter." Hyunsik's eyes widened and he bowed his head in thanks.
"Then I am even more in your debt."
A/N: I'm thinking of doing a 24-hour writing challenge Wednesday starting at 4 AM. I mean I know I'm a baby and I go to bed early typically, buuuut it sounds like fun let's see what type of crazy shit I come up with (anybody want to join me? ;))))
ALSO I have exciting news!!! I'm finally making an OFFICIAL AUTHOR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT! There are still quite a few things I need to take care of before I create it, but for those of you who would be interested in reading books I will publish (in the very near future, I think/hope), and daily writing advice, be on the lookout!
Q: What's the most amount of works you've written at the same time, and if you don't write, what's the biggest amount of books you've read simultaneously?
A: Well, uh... n i n e 0.0 back when I was 12-13 I had nine ongoing works on my Wattpad account. Mind you, they were kinda simple stories, but still me now is like "wtf where did that go-"

~Junnie
