"Y/N......Y/N get up now."

You hear a faint voice lulling you out of sleep, but choose to ignore and drift back off to sleep.

"Y/N wake up and come on."

You hear that voice again, and it's making you frustrated. Sleep was precious to you, and you refuse for it to be taken away. To silence the voice, you somehow manage to push out a weak "Okkk."

After you count exactly 37 seconds with no voice heard, you go right back to sleep. You allow absolutely nothing to disturb you while you float off into dreamland.

Well...

Nothing except for a huge mass of fluff making harsh contact with your cheek.

"OUCH, WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!" you screech as you look up to find a smirk plastered on your obnoxious older brother's face, holding one of your fuzzy caribbean blue pillows in his hand.

"Mom told you to get up about 30 minutes ago, so she told me to wake you up. Of course, she didn't tell me HOW I choose do it" your brother says with a sly.

"I swear, Jungkook" you say while giving him a sleepy death stare, "if you ever do that again, I will come after you while you sleep."

He scoffs, "Tch, like I haven't heard that one before" and proceeds to walk out of the room. Before he steps out of the door frame, he turns and says, "By the way...you only have about an hour to do all your girlie needs before you have to leave. See ya!" And walks out triumphantly, proud with the way he woke you up.

Sometimes you reeeeeally don't like Jungkook, and this only made that fact even more true.

Because you had just woken up, not everything processed at once, but your brain slowly rewinded what he said.

"Only an hour..." you say to yourself slowly. Then realization hits you. "ONLY AN HOUR!??!?!"

As soon as those words left your mouth, you reach over to your small white bedstand where your phone lay charging. The time read 8:30 am. And it was a Thursday. Which meant you had one morning class to attend. And you have an hour left to get ready, including time to eat. Not to mention you normally walk to school since it was just a couple of blocks away, but it still takes about 5 minutes.

You roughly calculate how much time you will need and quickly jump out of bed to take a shower, get dressed, fix your hair, and put on light makeup.

As you speed walk into the kitchen, your mother greets you...well...more like sings to you, "You wouldn't be rushiiiiing if you got up the first time I called yoooooouuu" in an 'I-told-you-so" tone. You were still sleepy, not to mention you have yet to eat, so you REALLY weren't in the mood. You grab a cereal-to-go cup, pour some milk, grab a plastic spoon and your backpack, and begin to walk towards the door.

"Hold on a second" your mom says before you open the door. You stand there half confused and half worried that she will give you a small lecture about waking up on time, which you really didn't have time for.

"Why do you have light blue fuzzies in your hair?" She asks. She reaches into your hair and takes out the few fuzzies that had somehow weaved their way to stay on your hair.

"Guess" you say dryly.

"Oh...don't mind him. And no, you can't go for revenge. I'm warning you Y/N." She finishes sternly.

Dang.

"It's not fair! If he does something to me first, I'm not allowed to do anything back, but if I do something to him first, he has all the right to get me back!" You say exasperated.

Your mom chuckles, kisses your forehead and says, "You are something else. Have a good day today. I love you" and gives you a hug.

You were completely comforted and all the frustration and sleep stress instantly melted away. You knew your mother had this effect, and it was always appreciated. "I love you too, mom. And I'll try not to kill him" you joke.

"I will deal with Jungkook. Right now you need to worry about getting to class on time" Your mom says. "You have about 8 minutes to get there."

You agree, and hug your mom one more time before telling her goodbye. Before you open the door, you yell to Jungkook, "BYE RABBIT FAAAACE!"

"BYE SHORT POTATOOO!" He shouts back. With that, you head out the door hearing the sound of your mom chuckling behind you.

Although it makes you miserable to go to class, especially this early, you can't help but be grateful for your mom and brother. You thought these thoughts while walking on the sidewalk eating your breakfast on the way to school. You didn't have a lot of friends. Come to think of it, you didn't have any because you make little to no social interaction with people. You only ever did if you were assigned to a partner for a project or something. And if it seemed like you made a friend, it was always because of your big brain. Even so, knowing that you come home to those blessings, even though you joke that you consider your brother a blessing in disguise, makes your heart happy enough.

While reminiscing in this, you didn't realize that you made it to the front of the school, with about a minute to spare before the bell was to ring to inform students to head to their respective classrooms.

After finishing your food, you throw it away and make your way towards the brick stairs leading up to the tall wooden doors.

"Welp, let's get this over with" you say to yourself as you open the doors to your 2 hour misery.
