(Jimin's POV)

It worked.

The plan worked but.....

Why was he feeling guilty?

While they were working on the project, he started getting a bit nervous about not being able to put his plan into play. When Hoseok's phone rang, he was internally relieved that he could finally have a chance.

As he expected, Y/N "attempted" to be cold, but eventually warmed up to the conversation.

This is where he was surprised.

Not only was she truly engaged in the conversation, but so was he. He didn't count on her sharing some of the same interests, let alone actually talk about them. When it was time for him to leave, he actually MEANT it when he said she was great company. The guilt didn't set in until he was about to drive home.

He was already in trouble, and he KNEW it.

"Crap" Jimin grunts out frustratedly with his hands on the steering wheel. "Just keep it together and keep up the act until the bet is complete. You can do this. She's just another girl."

He finally reaches his house, noticing that his car is the only car in the driveway. That means Yoongi left the house, which was extremely rare.

Hm. Must've went out for food.

After unlocking the door, Jimin kicks off his shoes and plops down on the couch back-first, draping his arm over his eyes. A swarm of "what if" thoughts clouded his mind hindering him from coming up with his next move for his plan, causing the stressed boy to run all of his fingers through his hair down his face.

CAN he do this?

~~~~~~~
(Y/N's POV)
You finally reach home, with a pounding headache gracing your presence. The whole walk home, your mind was bombarded with questions. Questions about Hoseok, Jimin, and what could be happening over the period the project will last.
You open the front door and cautiously look around to see if Jungkook was around to continue his bugging. Not hearing a sound and seeing that his game was put up, you assume that he's gone for the moment.
Letting out a breath, you trudge upstairs to your room. You wish you could take a nap, but you remember you have homework that is due the following Monday, so the precious date with sleep will have to wait.
You turn the hall to head into your room, eventually convincing yourself you deserve a small nap anyway before you started. You rub your temples and headed to the doorway, relieved to finally----
"Hello there."
"HOLY CRAP!!" You jump and clutch your heart.
There Jungkook was. In the middle of your room with his arms folded against his chest and his head slightly tiled to the side. "Tell me the details" he says.
"WHAT is WRONG with you" you grunt out and walk around him to sit on your bed.
"You sure took your dear sweet time, so I thought you were walking back with one of them....or both if you were like THAT. I was surprised that you were walking alone after your 'project meeting'" Jungkook says while adding finger air quotes to finish.
You turn slightly read at his assumptions. "Nothing happened, and it WAS a 'project meeting'. Are you satisfied now?"
The bunny boy shows his signature bunny teeth while he chuckles. "You are a terrible liar. SOMETHING must've happened because you are turning red. What?" Jungkook pauses as his eyes go wide "Don't tell me either one or both of them tried to-----"
"OOOOOOOOKAY get out." You cut him off and start to push him out of the room. No way you were letting him finish that.
"Ooooooooooooo mom is gonna be interesteeeeeeeeeeed" Jungkook says with a sly before you close the door.
"IF SHE DOES YOU ARE DEAD" you shout.
"POTATO PLEASE, YOU CAN'T EVEN REACH THE SHELVE SO WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN DO THAT, EH?" Jungkook shouts back.
You open the door and fling a plushie at his head, earning a laugh from him.
Stupid brothers.
Finally having peace, you lay on your back on the edge of your bed. The thoughts then roll back in.
WAS Jimin trying something? Could your brother be right if he had finished that sentence? It's too early to tell...is it? What about Hoseok? You still don't know what's going on. Among all of these, two main questions appear.
What, and how?
As you attempt to relieve yourself of these thought, your phone dings. Your phone lights up with a notification saying that Hoseok had texted you.
"Hey. I know this is super last minute, but I wanted to ask you anyway. Would you like to come with me to the park tomorrow? Just for a little while? It's ok if you don't.
-H"
Oh. No.
