~Chapter 17~

(Y/N's POV)

"Wow...you were THAT nervous?" you asked.

Of course, Jimin didn't tell you EVERY detail of what happened. Only what he wanted to tell you. "Yeah...so again, thank you."

You find yourself smiling at him. "You're welcome, Jimin." The smile he gave you after you gave that answer made your heart do backflips.

......wait WHAT?? BACKFLIPS?? GIRL, IT IS TOO EARLY FOR THAT.

While driving to the ice cream parlor, you two talk about anything and everything. You even had a karaoke session in the car to a band that you both absolutely adore: Beyond The Scene.

When you finally arrive at the destination, Jimin quickly hops out to open the door, but this time puts out his hand for you to take it. At first you think about teasing him and not taking it, but decide it may hurt his pride, so you place your hand in his.

See, this is where it gets interesting.

As soon as your small hand makes contact with his soft but firm hand, what feels like a jolt of electricity sparked. Just by touching that hand, you felt a sense of calmness and protection. Just. By. Touching. You look into his eyes and can tell he felt it too.

......and you're also holding hands for too long to get out of a car. C'mon, now.

After separating and walking to the door, Jimin clears his throat and says, "After you, my dear" while holding the door for you. You play along and curtsey while thanking him, making him laugh.

That laugh. That laugh that makes you fuzzy.

The date barely started......and you're already starting to LIKE like Jimin even more.

After ordering a cookie dough ice cream for you and a mint chocolate for Jimin, you two sit at tables outside while enjoying each other's company. Pure bliss for you two.

After a little while, you decide to have a little fun with Jimin. At this point, he had his head turned to the side looking at some cars passing while biting his ice cream.

Yes. Biting.

You then take some ice cream with your finger and say, "Hey, Jimin! Look!!" As he turns, you wipe the ice cream on his cheek.

Jimin puts on a shocked face "HEEEEEY!! You can't do that!!" He tastes a bit with his finger. ".....but it IS good though."

You start to laugh, but you make a mistake. The mistake was that you laughed with your eyes closed. Jimin notices, and takes HIS WHOLE CONE and smears it down your nose.

"WHAT THE---" you yell. "PARK JIMIIIIIIIIN!!!!!"

He throws himself backwards while laughing SUPER hard to the point where tears come out. "YOU....YOU S-SHOULD SEE THE LOOK ON YOUR F-F-FAAAACE HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!"

You playfully pout, but taste the ice cream as well. "It actually tastes pretty good too!" you say with a smile.

The date goes on similar to this, ice cream everywhere on your faces, talking, basically just having fun. Having fun with someone you NEVER thought you would be with. Yet here you are.

Once the ice cream is gone, you take out a mirror....and almost panic.

Jimin notices your face. "Hey...what's the matter?? Are you ok?"

What was the problem? Well. You had makeup on, so when you wiped the ice cream off, you accidentally wiped your foundation off. You had low self esteem when it came to the blemishes and acne scars on your face, so out of embarrassment, you cover your face.
