It has been about a month since the eventful weekend. Hoseok truly was understanding, and if anything, your friendship continued to remain stable, if not stronger. He still despises Jimin, but continued to respect you and your choice. Jimin, of course, was still Jimin, but his love and affection for you only steadily progressed from that blissful Saturday you confessed to each other. And as for you? You've been doing just fine. The weird suspicions you've had regarding your mom and brother faded with time, truly believing it was all in your head and everything is okay. As the time flew by and the weather grew colder, the project was completed a tad bit more than halfway, earlier than all three of you expected. So, all in all, everything was going smoothly.

Currently, you are on your way out the school doors on a chilly Tuesday in October. Because your final class was just cancelled, you get to go home early. You release a sigh full of longing for your bed after a whole day of studying for upcoming midterms.

"I deserve it." you tell yourself to give you a feel of accomplishment.

As you are about to make the left from the front of the school to head home, a pair of firm but warm arms wrap around your waist. Along with the arms, you feel little kisses litter around underneath your ear and the side of your neck.

Jimin.

"On your way home, beautiful?" he asks while still giving you little kisses.

Giggling, you answer, "Yeah, my last class just got cancelled. Are you going home too?"

He stops giving your neck attention and lays his chin on your shoulder, his hair slightly brushing your cheek. "Sadly no. None of my classes got cancelled, but I saw you come out here so I wanted to be with you for a little bit. Save meeeeEeEeEe." he playfully whines out while spinning you around in his back-hug.

You laugh and console him. "It'll be alright, babe. It's one more class, and it's the shortest one of the day. You can do this." you finish by giving him pecks on his cheek.

"Mmmmmm" he hums out and aims for your lips. When your mango-flavored lips joins with his strawberry-flavored lips, he draws back in disgust that shows on his face.

"Change that chapstick please. That is NASTY. Plus you never wear mango, what the heck is going on?? I'm surprised I couldn't smell that crap" he teases you.

You bust out laughing and push out "I wanted to see your reaction so I put it on hoping you would fall for it and it WOOOORKED AHAHHAAHHAHAAAAAAA!!!!" You erupt in an even louder laughing fit and he slightly pushes you with his shoulder.

"I'm gonna get you back. I don't know how yet, but I DEFINITELY will and when I do.....ooooohohohoho baby it'll be good." he tells you.

You wipe your tears from laughing and say, "You are all talk but no action, please. And speaking of action, you need to get to class now, seriously."

"Okay Y/N. Tell me once you've gotten home okay?" he tells you with sincerity laced in his voice as he starts to jog towards the steps to the front doors of the school.

"I will....but what about my goodbye kiss?" you semi-shout to him with a smug.

"BUMP THAT!!!" he semi-shouts back, earning more laughter from you.

"I freaking love him..." you say to yourself, ".....almost as much as my bed."

And that's saying a LOT.

Smiling to yourself, you begin your walk home once again.

(Jimin's POV)

"I freaking love her..." Jimin says to himself, "but now I can't this nasty mango taste out of my mouth. Danggit."

"That was quite a cute scene Jiminie."

Jimin looks up to see the boy who the familiar voice belonged to, who is leaning against the locker with his arms folded.

"Don't clown me Taehyung." Jimin says softly as he pops the now silver-haired boy in the back of his head.

Taehyung rubs the spot and give him a smug grin. "I'm being serious, buddy. Almost makes me not upset to know I'm losing. You just may win, and you have the bonus points for dating her too."

Jimin's heart starts to sting with his friend's words, and the emotion slowly begins to make a physical appearance on his face. He then starts to remember everything that has happened in the past month. Every word shared, every feeling felt, every moment shared. He basically forgot that this whole thing started because of this gosh dang bet.

"Yo. Jiminie. Are you ok?" Taehyung asks, causing Jimin to snap out of his thoughts. "You don't look too good."

Jimin slightly shakes his head, his jet black bangs sweeping his forehead. "Y-Yeah I'm fine. And I told you I got this in the back. I'm almost at the final step, and the semester even over yet. She'll be in my bed with me doing her in no time. I got thiiiiis."

Funny. His words are confident and cocky, but the tone of them are the exact opposite. And Taehyung notices, but chose to not say anything.

Instead, he smiles to himself.

"What are you smiling about? You're supposed to be sulking that you won't get my stuff." Jimin says to the boy, pushing down the pulsing hurt so it doesn't show on his face anymore.

Taehyung takes a quick glance behind Jimin, then looks back at him and gives his friend the same smile. "Because I know you aren't stupid."

.....what the heck?

What's THAT supposed to mean?

Jimin furrows his brows and purses his lips before he drags out, "Thaaaaaanks? I guess?"

Taehyung just keeps smiling as he turns away.

This is creepy...why is he still smiling???

"Anyways. Come on, how are you gonna continue the plan? I wanna know Jiminie pleeeaaaaase?" Taehyung playfully asks while swinging his best friend's right arm while walking to class.

With the question, the hurt is back again.

And this time, he actually allows it to show on his face.

He is not happy.

~~~~~~~
(No One's POV)
"I caught you, you lying motherfriking snake." hisses a voice behind a corner of a wall with lockers.
The spy presses stop on his phone, turns it off, and stuffs it in his pocket. They then casually start walking to class, making it look like he only just arrived at the corner to turn in order to not look suspicious.
"I reFUSE to let you get away with this."
