Lies

~Chapter 16~

Saturday is here now.......and you are a nervous wreck. After the situation that happened yesterday, you have absolutely no idea what to expect WHATSOEVER.

The time came for you to make your way to Hoseok's house. With each step you took towards the door, you shook as if there was an earthquake taking place at that moment.

You are THAT terrified.

"BYE POTATOOOOOOOOO HAVE FUN PLAYING HOPSCOTCH WITH YOUR MEEEEEN!!!" Jungkook shouted to you from the kitchen.

You, however, could not laugh. "Not now Jungkook....please not now." you say.

You hear Jungkook come to you from behind you. "Waitwaitwait I know that tone. What's going on Y/N?" he asked softly.

You don't want to tell him. You REALLY didn't. But you felt the need to spill everything so far to your big brother. As you continue talking and explaining what happened, a face unknown to you slowly crept up on Jungkook's face.....a mix of fear and slight anger. You try to ask what's wrong, but he simply dismisses it.

"Y/N, I want you to listen to me." he starts. "I cannot help you choose, but PLEASE give Jimin a try. I wasn't lying when I said that he would be a good match for you." He finishes with a smile.

......huh?

"O-Ok....I guess?" you say slowly. Then, your brother hugs you as if his life depended on it.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON??

"See you soon, french fry.....try to avoid face sucking on the first date, ok?" Jungkook teased.

"JUNGKOOK, YOU NASTY BUNNY!!" you scream and punch his arm before walking out the door.

"AND NO HICKEYS EITHER. YOU DON'T HAVE A TURTLE NECK SO I'M GONNA KNOOOOOOOOOOW!!!" you hear your brother scream from the door.

You are so grateful you have a brother like him, and can't imagine a life without him. You mentally thank him for lending a listening ear and continue walking.

The meeting just ended, and you are about to pack up the supplies you brought. Throughout the meeting, it was surprisingly calm, as if the situation never happened. Of course, Hoseok still gave those looks at Jimin and both of them were SUPER close to you, everything was pretty normal.

Right now it's only you and Hoseok alone. Jimin had went to the bathroom a few seconds earlier. Hoseok takes this time and says, "I hope you have fun with Jimin today. As friends."

......???

"But I hope I can still have you next Saturday? Or...maybe tomorrow on a Sunday again?" he asks.

You think about it. "Sure, Hobi."

He makes that same face he made in class yesterday when you mentioned his name....and it kind of freaks you out. "Then, I'll see you later, my dear." he says then winks as he leaves the room.

At the same time, Jimin comes out ready to go. "Ready, beautiful?"

Good LORD he needs to stop.

"Yeeeeeees Jimiiiiiiiin." you drag out, making him laugh. On the way to his car, he says, "You know, as ironic as it seems, I was actually pretty scared you were gonna turn me down and say no when I asked you."

Your eyes go wide. You did NOT expect that.

"No waaaaay....THEEEE Park Jimin.....afraid of rejection??" you tease as he opens the passenger door for you, which you also didn't expect but didn't show it.
