Myna here, I would like to thank everyone for all your amazing comments and suggestions from last week's Chatter. The Poets Pub is all about YOU and creating a safe place for our Pubbers to share their love of poetry.
Our Superhero challenge/contest is some thing I came up with and on paper it looked like a great idea, it was something we had not tried before; having three connected contests. Unfortunately, it has not gone as well as I hoped it would, I should have done it for only one month. For this I would like to sincerely apologize. I still think it was a great idea, but it could have been executed in a better manor. But the only way you can know if something will work is if you try it, so lesson learned.
As we move forward into the Biggest Competition Ever, we will be looking to incorporate as many of your ideas into the BCE and beyond. As Bill mentioned we have over 6000 members but only a small percentage participates in our activities. We want to find ways to get more Pubbers involved and are working on some ideas to do so. However, all the work done here at the Pub is on a volunteer basis and of course Bill and I have our jobs and family life that comes first. Having said that I want all of you to know that Bill and I are committed to continuing to improve the Pub and will be working diligently to do so. We want to continue to hear from all of you on how we can improve the Pub. THANK YOU AGAIN, for your patience and suggestions, we are eternally grateful for each and every one of you!!
