Welcome to another week here in the Pub Universe!

2019.
Wow.
I remember when the calendars first changed from the year 1999 to 2000. It was like something out of a fantasy novel. As a child, way back in the 1960s, it seemed that the year 2000 was far, far, far, in the future, but now, as I look back, it was but a second away.
I feel much the same about the Poets Pub.
When I came up with the idea for the Poets Pub, back in the middle of May 2015, I honestly did not expect it to last as long as it has. I had an idea, a great desire and and a dream. A dream of a place where all the Poets of Wattpad could come together and share their talents and inspire each other to rise above any doubts they might have and find the true inner Poet inside each and every one.
I smile now, as I see that dream has come true.
The Pub has become exactly what I envisioned and so much more. We continue to grow and Poets that have passed through our doors continue to be inspired to reach beyond the stars and look to the vastness of their own imagination. And their creations are only limited to that imagination.
For 2019 and the future, I see the Pub only continue to expand and being filled with a new generation of Poets. A generation that will ensure the future success of the Pub.
I am officially proclaiming 2019 as Come Home Year for the Pub and I am holding open the Pub doors for all those who have passed through our doors in the past and for what ever reason have drifted away from the Pub.
I am also welcoming all new members, who wish to drop by and see what the Pub is all about. With that in mind, I am asking all our members to spread the word and extend our welcome to as many of your fellow Poets, as you can.
Lets make 2019 the best year the Pub has ever seen.

Bet you thought I was going to forget.
There are two people who have been the cornerstones of this establishment from the beginning and without them, the Pub would not be the Pub.
To lyttlejoe. All the best in 2019. You are a true inspiration. I could go on, but I don't want to embarrass you ... too much.
