The next thing the kids knew, they were hanging in another room from their ankles. "Good plan, Thomas." Minho spoke up. ""Just hear what the man has to say." Really working out for us."
"Shut up, Minho." Thomas retorted. "Maybe I can reach the rope."
Minho and Thomas tried to free themselves, but had no luck.
Ariella attempted to, and realized she could, but Jorge's presence stopped her from trying to escape. "Enjoying the view?"
"What the hell do you want?"
"That is the question. My men want to sell you back to WICKED. Life has taught them to think small. I'm not like that. Something tells me that you're not either."
"Is the blood rushing to my head or is this shank not making any sense?" Minho asked.
"It ain't making sense." Ariella answered.
"Tell me what you know about the Right Arm." Jorge said.
"I thought you said they were ghosts." Newt replied.
"I happen to believe in ghosts. Especially when I hear them chattering on the airwaves. You tell me what you know, and maybe we can make a deal."
"We don't know much." Thomas answered. They were lowered and Thomas cried, "Okay! Okay, alright. They're hiding in the mountains. And they attacked WICKED. They got out a bunch of kids. That's it. That's all we know."
Another man appeared just as Jorge was about to speak. "Yo, Jorge." He noticed the dangling kids. "What's going on?"
Jorge turned to him. "Me and my new friends were just getting acquainted. We're done now."
"Hey, wait." Thomas said. "You're not gonna help us?"
"Don't worry, hermano. We'll get you back to where you belong. Hang tight."
Once they left, Ariella started reaching up to her ankles. She was closer to the lever and once she freed herself, the boys each took her hands to lead her to the lever. She was swung to the railing and freed her friends.
They heard Janson's voice and came face-to-face with a gun. "Okay, let's go, let's go." Thomas said.
Ariella stepped next to Thomas. "We don't want to cause any trouble. We just need to get out of here."
"Is that so?" The man said with a smile. He said into a walkie, "Janson, I got 'em for ya. I'm bringing 'em down. Don't shoot us. Come on. Let's go."
"Oh, shit." Ariella muttered.
The kids remained stationary. "I said let's go."
Thomas grabbed the guy's gun and shot it into the air. He pushed the guy back and the guy said, "You little bastard!" He aimed the gun at Thomas' chest, and Thomas instantly pushed Ariella behind him.
They heard a gunshot, and the man fell to reveal the girl who had brought them to Jorge. "Okay. Come on. Come on! Let's go!"
The group ran, deciding this girl could be trusted; for the time being. They didn't notice Teresa didn't follow right away.
Jazz music started playing and Jorge said, "Brenda! Hurry! We don't have much time!" The kids ran up the stairs. "Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Jorge opened a window. "Right this way!"
"You gotta be kidding me." Frypan said, realizing they'd have to zipline down.
"Plan B, hermano." Jorge replied. "You kids wanna get to the Right Arm? I'll lead you to them. But you're gonna owe me." He pulled down a rope and as he went down, he cried, "Follow me!"
"Alright! Let's go!" Brenda said, pulling down a rope. "Come on!"
"Everyone, go." Thomas replied. "Go!"
They each pulled down a rope and went down the zipline one-by-one. Brenda ran off and Thomas followed her. She grabbed a gun and started shooting at the guards.
