Win or Lose

Is cutting a won,

Or lost battle?

Did you win by simple hurting and not dying?

Or did you loose by not being strong enough and picking up the blade?

Did you win by not cutting deep enough?

Or did you loose by only scratching the surface.

Is each one of our scars a battle we won or one that we lost?

Because I have many,

And I want to know.
