Do you want to know why I'm silent?

Why in a room of people,

I choose to be quiet and let others talk around me?

Why I don't ask you for advice or help when I need it?

Why I don't open up to people?

Or maybe why out of everyone in the group,

I'm the "introvert"?

Do you really want to know?

If I actually talk,

If I actually say something,

You won't understand.

Yes,

You will nod your head.

Yes,

You will act the way you think I want you to act.

Yes,

You pretend to understand.

But you don't.

My words will just skip by you without a second thought.

Why?

Because my troubles are beyond your understanding.

I choose to be silent because you won't get it.

And it's easier if I don't talk.

It's better that way.
