Do you ever just see someone, and you get a feeling that they are going to matter to you, like a lot? You could be perfectly fine, living life and happy, you may be alone or with someone, but there is no mistake. I am drawn to this girl I met at a show I played. I did get her name. It's Lynn, Lynn Gunn.
My name is Alexa, and I sing and play rhythm guitar in my band called Love, Robot. It is my life, and it has been since its formation. We have an album out, and get this; we're not even signed to a label! How fucking cool is that? So, we were playing a show in this small New York bar and we were wrapping up our last song of the set, "Rebirth", when I noticed in the front row standing so relaxed, so calm, a girl with this unbelievable smile plastered across her face, and that lovely face was watching me like I was the end of her world and that she wanted it more than anything.
I was shook up for the rest of our set. I think I missed a chord or two? Maybe? I can barely remember anything except for those eyebrows scrunched in curiosity. It was so quick, the time was moving so fast, and my heart was moving faster. People are, well they are just full of surprises. Even I couldn't prepare myself for the aftershow. i would never be the same.
