I quickly sat up still facing the wall. I slowly turned around to see three boys in on the other side of the room while Iris sat on the edge of my bed. Sure enough Landon was standing next to Seth and Miles.

I couldn't tell what was going through his head as he looked at me. I mean it annoyed me a bit that he was here but I also missed him. Before I left that school- before I confessed we use to be great friends. It seemed he was always doing something stupid and I only went with him because of how I felt. We spent a lot of time together because of this. But once that post was made I couldn't even take a step past school gates without being judged. I knew he also judged me because Aubrey was generous enough to provide screenshots of him being discussed with me. Oh and let's not forget the occasional hate messages that come along with it.

We stared at each other in silence before Miles tried breaking the silence.

"Let's play on the gay- I mean game system..i meant game system" he said as he took out controllers then turned it on.

"Oh my gosh your such a panic gay" Seth laughed as he ruffled Miles's hair.

"Bro your ASS AT THE GAME!" Iris screams as she starts mashing down on the controller harder.

"Says the one losing" Seth says nonchalantly as he continues to calmly play the game.

"I'll go get us some something to drink" I sat up off the floor and stretched.

"Cool cool" Seth said as I opened our room door and walked out.

I grabbed my keys then walked out the dorm. I breathed out happily. I was walking down the hall when I heard someone running up behind me. I quickly moved off to the side excepting them to keep running but they stopped in front of me.

I looked up to see Landon breathing heavily as he rested on his knees.

"What are you doing out here?" I asked kind of annoyed.

"Miles told me to come with you to make sure your safe" he said finally sitting up.

"Well I don't need your nor anyone else's help to keep myself safe" I continued walking.

"Strawberry what happened that made you leave school?" he asked catching up to me.

"Got rejected, my best friend betrayed me, got bullied. Need I go on" I have him a fake smile.

"Who bullied you!?" He yelled a little as he held onto my arm stopping me.

I laughed bitterly "I'm not having this conversation..not with you" I pulled my arm out of his grasp then continued walking

"Fine....who rejected you?" He asked me.

"Once a dick always a dick" I smiled a little hurt that he doesn't even remember what happened.

"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked.

"Nothing you would remember" I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks for having me over guys" Landon thanked us as he walked out the door.

"Welp I guess that means it's time for me to go as well" Iris said as she hopped off my bed and walked over to the door. "Ber I left my number in your phone so text me whenever, byeee" she walked out.

"So I guess this means I can stay?" Seth asked.

"No" Miles and I both said in an monotone voice.

"Damn alright I'll go" he put his hands in the air then left.

"Do you and Landon know each other" Miles asked as he plopped down onto his bed.

"We use to hand out a lot but not anymore" I sighed as I picked up the controller and started playing the racing game.

"Oh...so he told me your into guys" Miles said.

"Not necessarily but yea I guess" I said not taking my eyes off the screen.

"He said that you might steal me away from Seth" he laughed.

"Pfft why would I do that. I basically just meant you" I smiled.

"I don't know" his laugh died down. "Did you ever have feelings for Landon?" He asked loud and clear.

"I'm gonna hop in the shower..I feel dirty" I put down the controller and walked over to the closet and took somethings out.

"I-I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable in anyway Berry. Just know you can come talk to me if you really need to talk to someone" Miles hops up from his bed and quickly grabs my sleeve.

"It's okay..I just rather not talk about it- I mean that was high school drama. We're in college for crying out loud" I said.

"Yea I suppose so" he giggled.

"How about I tell you another time-" I looked over at my phone laying on my bed. "Better yet just text Iris she'll tell you" I smiled handing him my phone.

"Okay then...we should go on a "new friend" trip to the pool" he sat down on the floor with my phone.

"Yea- just no Landon" I looked down at him.

"You got it" he laughed at me.

I laid there in my bed unable to fall asleep. How could he not remember what happened that night? Did he really drink that much? Hell Aubrey remembered what she did and made such everyone else did too. Sometimes I hate social media..and homophobic people. Why was Landon even talking to me? He has no right to do so.

Forget it. Why am I even thinking about them. Especially her. If I ever see her again I swear I'll make her life a living hell. Starting with the little things in life leading up to the big ones. I get this happened way back when but her little post spread throughout the whole town. I was basically forced to come out to my parents and explain things to them. I'm lucky they excepted me for one and two that they could tell we should move to the next town over till the rumor died down a little.

I'm glad that when we came back I had finished school elsewhere because it'd be one hell of a sophomore year.
