Thank you for taking an interest in this story. I appreciate every read, vote, comment, and share!

Although this is a work of fiction, it's rooted in biblical truth. You don't need to be Christian to enjoy this story, nor do you need to have an in-depth knowledge of bible prophecy which is the main source of much of the story's backdrop.

Although this is a work of fiction containing fictional characters and locations, I very much believe the world is headed towards the 7 year tribulation - the worst period in human history - as described in this story. Before this horrible time period, millions of people will seemingly disappear off the face of the earth in what the bible calls the rapture. However, the world, rocked by these disappearances will seek answers elsewhere namely mass UFO abductions, mother nature purging herself, a failed CERN experiment or whatever other explanation they come up with to deceive people from the truth.

After the tribulation will be the millennial reign of Christ which will be a time of unrivaled peace. The end of this period of time will be marked by a Satanic rebellion that will be stopped before it even starts ushering in the Great White Throne judgment and eternity.

The purpose of this work is to express these truths the best way I can in this medium and communicate the saving power of the gospel. Salvation is found in Christ and Christ alone. Those that have placed their trust in his sacrifice on the cross will be taken before this 7 year period of time. However, those that haven't will be left to face the horrors of the tribulation.

This may sound like a joke or a fanciful tale to many, but I hope that it's given you something to think about and you look into some of the prophecies concerning the times we're living in. Feel free to ask questions or shoot me a private message if you're interested in discussing further. I also encourage you to take a look at my blog posts (links below with short summaries) on some of the aforementioned topics if you need more details. God bless you!

The 7 year Tribulation

1) The Coming Tribulation IMany Christians including myself believe we're in the "end times" but what does this really mean? The bible tells us there's a future 7 year period of time known as the tribulation that will be the climax of human history. What is the tribulation and is it closer than we might think? The first part of this study is an introduction to the tribulation, how it starts, and its purpose.

The Rapture

1) A Rapture StudyMost people have heard of the word "rapture" and have a general understanding that it's a belief Christians hold, being at one point in time, all Christians will be taken off the face of the earth before the "end of the world". To the skeptic, this is one of many "fairy tales" the bible contains, but to the Christian, it's our "blessed hope". However, is the rapture this simple as there are 4 varying views on its timing. Which one is right and what are some key ideas in the bible that references this hope?

The Gospel and how to be Saved

The bible makes it very clear that when we die there are 2 eternal destinations for man: eternal life with God through Christ, or eternity apart from God at the lake of fire. This is based on if we either accept or reject God's free gift of salvation.

We can see the Gospel communicated in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, that Christ died for the sins of humanity, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day in victory. In doing so he freed us from the debt of sin we owed to God by paying for it himself in full. Navigate to the link below to learn how to respond to the Gospel and accept this free gift of salvation.

"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
