"Are you okay?how you holding up?, I know how close you and chad was but he's in a better place" I consoled izzy as we sat in the car on out way to chad funeral.
It would have been a little sooner but his mother wanted to have all his family and friends there to pay there respects. So waiting for everyone to arrive took abut a few days and then we had to find a big enough funeral home and all the other things that had to be done fore the funeral.
"im okay just weird without the little nigga around but you know I got to stay strong for his mom, you know he was her only child, that shit got to fuck with her but I let her know that whatever she needed, im always here" he spoke sadly. I Just felt extremely bad, I didn't expect chads death to affect him the way it is but I kind of figured cause no one knows where we live as of now and some how chad was there everyday with izzy ,they were really like brothers so its very understandable why its hitting him so hard.
" you ready" he spoke I must have been in a daze because I hadn't notice we were pulling up to the funeral home
"yes" I basically whispered and he came to my side helping me out the car and we made our way toward the doors. As we made it to the steps right before the door he stopped
"I cant do this babe imma meet up with yall after" he started turning around before I stopped him and grabbed his face in my hands
"Look I know its hard, its going to be hard but you got to be that strong man that I love, and Parys looks up to , do it for me... Please" I kissed his lips softly and he opened the door for me and we went straight to our seats considering we came late we'll just go see him on the final viewing
As we made our way up to the casket I clung on to izzy a little tighter. Soon as we approached it the flood gates opened and we both broke down before he wiped his tears and began talking
" its crazy how just earlier that day I was telling you how good of a job you been doing, joking how you was trying take my spot now look I lost my fucking dog, I lost my fucking dog man. Don't even worry about your moms bro she all taken care of her love you man a always remember one up" he held up his finger toward the sky and then placed his cross chain on chads chest. Thank god he spoke lowly because he was cursing in a funeral home but I guess he needed to get that out. After making our way outside with Ace, Ty, and Alana we sat around waiting for the pallbearers to bring the casket out so we could go to the burial.

"Hi" a pretty light skin girl walked up and tapped izzy
"wassup" he faced her with a confused look on his face, shit we all was confused
