Steve went into an alleyway and changed into his old suit, just in case the other Avengers saw him. He finished getting ready and walked into Stark Tower, making sure to keep a low profile.

"Gosh, where do I put it?" He whispered to himself, holding the case with the scepter inside.

Steve made his way towards the elevator when he heard a familiar voice behind him.

"Going somewhere, Capsicle?"

Steve turned around to see Tony with a smirk on his face.

Gosh, Steve thought, I haven't seen that smirk on forever.

"I- I just got to put this back." Steve said.

Tony looked at the case. "I thought those guys from S.H.I.E.L.D took it."

"They did, but- Loki had it. I got it from him." Steve said.

"And where is he now?"

"Um," Steve began, "he took the Tesseract and vanished."

"LOKI! THIS ISN'T FUNNY! COME OUT NOW!" Thor shouted, looking behind bushes and in drawers for Loki.

"Why would he be in a drawer?" Clint asked.

"It's Loki. He can shapeshift into whatever he wants." Thor said.

"Tony, we gotta find Loki or else Thor's going to throw someone across the Atlantic Ocean." Natasha said, walking over to Steve and Tony.

"N-Nat?" Steve said.

"Hey Steve, what's in the case?" Natasha asked.

Steve looked down at the case, having forgotten what it was for a second.

"Loki's scepter." Steve said. "I was keeping a lookout when I saw Loki with the scepter and the Tesseract. I got the scepter but he took the Tesseract before I could get it."

"You saw Loki?" Natasha asked. "Thor, Steve saw Loki!"

"LOKI!?" Thor came over to Steve. "Where is my brother?"

"He escaped with the Tesseract." Steve said.

"But you saw him?"

"Yes, he had the scepter, I took it from him and then he vanished into a blue smoke portal."

"Ugh, he really is the worst brother." Thor continued to mutter about how horrible Loki could be under his breath.

"Anyways, Loki seems to be gone, no use in looking for him. Let's go have Shwarma." Tony said.

"I still have to give this back to the Secretary-" Steve began.

"You can do that after Shwarma. I'm hungry and almost died so I can have Shwarma and you're coming." Tony said, taking Steve's arm and dragging him out the door.

"Wait!" Steve said. "What about Bruce?"

"Have fun calming that guy down." Clint said, looking over at Hulk, who was yelling at any person that came into view.

"I got it." Natasha said. Natasha slowly walked over to the Hulk. "Hey big guy,"

"NO STAIRS!" Hulk yelled, towering over Natasha.

"Okay, okay, no more stairs. You never have to go down stairs again, okay?"

"Okay." Hulk said.

"Now listen, there's no more fight. No fighting so it's all going to be boring-"

"No Banner!" Hulk yelled. "Only Hulk!"

Natasha looked at the others for help.

"The suns getting real low." Steve whispered to Natasha. Natasha gave him a funny look and turned back to Hulk.

"Hey big guy, the suns getting real low." She said, putting her hand out. Hulk put his hand out to Natasha, then began to go crazy, running away from her. "Did I do something?" Natasha asked.

"No, it's fine, look." Steve said. Natasha looked to see Hulk transforming back into Bruce.

"Here you go, pal." Tony said, handing Bruce a shirt and pants.

"Thanks, Tony." Bruce said, leaving to go and put the clothes on.

"Okay, now once he gets back, we're going for Shwarma. No more excuses." Tony said. He turned and glared at Steve. "I'm looking at you, Rogers."

Steve sighed. He knew there was no way to get out of this. He might as well just go along and eat some Shwarma.

When Bruce was back, the six Avengers walked to a Shwarma place down the road and went inside. They all sat at a table as Tony went to order.

Bruce looked over at Clint and Natasha. "What's going on with your chairs?" He asked.

Steve looked at the two to see them both sharing the chairs, Natasha's leg on Clint's chair and Clint's leg on Natasha's chair.

"It's called sharing." Natasha said.

Tony came back with the food and passed it out to everyone. Thor quickly picked up his Shwarma and began eating while Bruce took small bites. Tony kept on eyeing Bruce, afraid he would Hulk out at any second.

Steve rested his head of his hand, slightly annoyed that he had to wait to complete his mission.

"Aren't you gonna eat, Cap?" Tony said with a mouthful of Shwarma.

Steve looked at his Shwarma and took a small bite. He wasn't to hungry, as Pepper had fed everyone at the funeral. The funeral. Steve looked up at Tony to see him eating his Shwarma. It pained Steve to see his face, knowing what the future held, if this reality would hold the same future. Steve then looked at Natasha, thinking the same thing.

After eating Shwarma, Steve got up.

"Aren't you coming to the party?" Tony asked.

"What party?"

"We just saved the city, we need to have a party." Tony said, rolling his eyes.

Steve had forgotten that Tony threw a small party after the battle. It wasn't anything exciting, just a lot of sitting and drinking.

"I still have to get this back to the Secretary." Steve said, showing Tony the case.

"I'll take care of it for you." Tony said.

"Fine. I do need to go and grab something, though." Steve said. He turned to walk out the door and then turned back around to look at Tony. "Thank you, Tony, for everything."

"I didn't do much, but okay." Tony said.

"You know, I was wrong about you, when I said you weren't the guy to make the sacrifice play."

"I didn't think I'd come out alive." Tony said.

"I'm glad you did." Steve said. He opened his arms up for a hug.

"This is kinda weird but okay." Tony said, giving Steve a hug. "Don't be late!" Tony told Steve.

"Can't make any promises." Steve said. He walked out to an empty alley and activated the quantum suit, time traveling to his next location: 2013.
