"That is so unfair." I whined in the back of my brothers truck. I sat there feeling self pity at how I lost another game of Rock Paper Scissors to Hunter.
Hunter chuckled as I muttered bad words I learned in Spanish.
"I'm on a four win streak baby," Hunter said happily, "You won't be getting this seat anytime soon."
After watching anime with Hunter on Sunday, everything continued normally for the week. I went to school like the good student I am and even got a 98 on my Physics project.
The only thing that I'm not doing so well at would be this stupid game that I keep losing to Hunter. I've had to sit in the back of my brothers truck almost all week, while Hunter got to gloat over his victories.
"You better sleep with one eye open tonight or you might just happen to lose your balls" I muttered with my arms crossed over my chest. Losing at such a simple game had hurt my ego, and I wanted revenge.
From the corner of my eye I caught a smirk on his face "Maybe that's where I want you."
My brother made a gagging noise and punched Hunter in the arm, "That's disgusting. At least get a room." he said jokingly. They laughed while I stayed quiet and embarrassed.
The rest of the car ride was silent. We made it to school and I jumped out of the truck quickly, making my way into the school.
"Chachi! You can't get rid of me so easily Chach!" I heard my name being called. I could feel Hunter gaining on me, the hairs on my neck stood up as I tried to get out of his view and into the swarm of students. I easily slipped into the crowd and made it swiftly to my locker.
Without missing a beat, Hunter was right next to me and leaning on the locker next to mine. He scanned the hallways as if he were looking for someone specific.
I took this as my chance to sneak a look at him. He stood there tall and confident, without a care in the world. His blue shirt fit him nicely along with his leather jacket. His jeans fit him perfect as always and his cologne wasn't just too much, it was perfect.
Since we've been around each other for what seems like 24 hours 7 days a week, I accepted the fact that he was awfully good looking. Too good looking which I never thought was possible.
"Are you done undressing me with your eyes shortcake? We can go back to my place if you'd like." Hunter said snapping me out of my daze.
My cheeks felt warm and I quickly grabbed my notebooks for class. I will not have Hunter get on my nerves today. To teach him a lesson, I'm going to do what any other mature person would do.
Give him the silent treatment.
He silently followed me as I walked towards my Spanish class. Once I had made it, I took a seat in the back next to Lacey's left, while Erika sat on Lacey's right.
"Umm Chachi?" I heard Erika call out to me.
"Hmm?" I looked up at her to find that both Lacey and Erika were staring at me. I glanced around and noticed that everyone was quietly staring at me as well.
Lacey pointed to behind me. I turned around and shrieked at Hunter's closeness. He was sitting in the desk next to mine and was leaning over his to stare at me. He had a mischievous look on his face as he leaned back in his chair.
"The more you ignore me, the more I will bother you." he taunted me. I narrowed my eyes at him and turned back to Lacey and Erika.
They were just as confused as the rest of the class but didn't question it. We continued on having a conversation before the teacher came into the classroom.
