The Bad Boy And The Nerd

Chapter 9

"You did what!" Kolby shrieked causing me to wince. It's around 8pm on a dark Sunday night. We're all sitting in a circle on my floor completely forgetting that they have homework to do and we have school the next morning.

Kolby's wearing a purple onesie with a dragon on the hood of it. Erika and Lacey are wearing black sweatpants with a hoodie. I didn't even get a chance to look at what Luke was wearing, once he got here Mikey and Hunter asked if he wanted to play some video games and of course he agreed. The girls and I giggled at him when he blushed and got nervous around them. I settled into some leggings and a baggy t-shirt. Once they came we ran inside my room, except Luke, and locked the door. I told them everything. From Laura telling me she'll tell Jess the truth, what happened in the bathroom, Noah asking me out on a date and finally what happened with Hunter yesterday.

They sat there silently listening to everything I had to say. Sometimes one of them would make a comment or they apologized over and over again for what happened with Jess and her friends. But now, they all had a big grin on their face and were freaking out over Hunter and I.

"You did not Chachi!" Erika said jumping up from her spot on the floor.

"I didn't mean to go onto his lap! I just wanted Twizzlers." I said shaking my head blushing at the memory. Who would have known Twizzlers would put me in such an uncomfortable situation.

"Ugh he's so hot" Lacey said making us all look at her in shock. She looked at us and raised an eyebrow, "What? I can't be the only one thinking that."

We all nodded our heads knowing she wasn't wrong.

"Chachi and Hunter sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Erika sang and danced around my room. I put my head in my hands and shook my head again.

"Why me?" I mumbled. I sighed and looked at the girls, "Let's just go get everything that we need for our movie night."

I stood up and went downstairs into the living room. We decided to have a movie marathon and eat unhealthy food just like every teenager does at a sleepover. Once this weekend is over I really need to start going back to the gym and eating my usual healthy foods.

Kolby and I would choose the movies while Lacey and Erika went to grab whatever snacks they could find in my kitchen.

The boys were sitting on the couch playing video games not noticing us, Luke was sitting in between them and kept glancing at Mikey every few seconds. I looked around the room noticing something was different. There were no cat pictures on the wall. I frowned knowing my mom wouldn't of taken them down, she loves them too much.

Kolby grabbed my arm stopping me from walking to the box of movies and put a finger to her lips. I gave her a questioning look not knowing why she shushed and stopped me. She then pointed at the boys and threw her hands up at me and opened her mouth making an O shape.

Kolby is one weird girl but one thing that I'm used to is her "sigh language", so I knew that she wanted to scare them. It took everything in me not to laugh at her so instead I nodded my head to let her know I agreed with the plan. We got onto our hands and knees and crawled on the floor until we were behind the couch. We squatted and on the count of three we jumped up and screamed.

"BOO!" we both shouted at them while grabbing their shirts.

Mikey jumped so high that the popcorn he was holding flew into the air and landed everywhere. Hunter choked on the Pepsi he was drinking and spilled it all over himself. Luke screamed and landed on the floor while still screaming.

"Don't kill me!" Luke yelled covering his face with his hands.

Kolby and I busted out laughing while holding our stomachs. Lacey and Erika came through the kitchen door looking concerned and scared but started laughing at the sight of the boys.
